My person came to pick my up at the dog hotel yesterday. She made me stay there a whole week while she went off to San Diego and had fun without me.
She even made friends with strange animals.

I can’t believe my person went far away to hang out with other animals. Why would she be interested in other animals when she’s got me?
This is getting really serious.
This animal looks way too friendly.
Then she went to the beach and hung out with the birds.
I want to go to the beach.
I want to chase those birds.
This is totally not fair.
But now I’m getting really worried.
My person is hanging out with a truck.
Well, that’s okay. My person can just go hang out with all her new friends.
I’m not sure I want to leave the dog hotel.
Because I’ve got a new friend too.
Don’t tell my person. This can be our little secret.
But next time my person goes and makes new friends to hang out with –
I’ll be having great fun – at the dog hotel.

Marina, I’m trying to figure out how to send my person on another trip – so I can hang out with my new friend again. But she has to go somewhere that I don’t want to go – and no hanging out with other animals.

Marina, my person is good – but when she goes and hangs out with other animals I think it’s okay to have fun with a friend at the dog hotel.

Bumpy Road, she’s the best friend I’ve ever had at the dog hotel. The other people are nice, but they don’t play with me as much.

What a lovely friend you found at the Dog Hotel, Bongo! She looks so sweet and you look very happy with her! Your person’s friends who have long horns are what kind of animals they are? Their fur seem to be gorgeously beautiful! and the other friend is a monkey? Wow! your person is lucky to have so many types of friends! 🙂

Kevin, I think my friend is much better than the ones my person found. The ones with the horns are called oryx. They are from Africa. The other little guy is a ring-tailed lemur. They come from Madagascar. You can’t see much of his tail in the picture. It was pretty cool how a couple of the lemurs came right up to the people.

Thanks Bongo! I’ve heard of the name “Olyx” because there is a proffesional baseball team called “Olyx” in Japan but didn’t know it was a name of animal. Oh! the other huy is from Madagascar! Looks very friendly! 🙂
