I don’t know what my person is thinking. She keeps wanting to go for walks on my trails, and for the last few days I’ve been telling her it’s not safe there.
There’s thunder out there.
I guess my person doesn’t understand the danger of thunder.
Which is why she needs me to keep her safe.
So when she kept insisting we should go on my trails I really had to put my feet down.
.
Finally I got through to her.
I took her for a walk around the block instead.
I got to meet some dogs that I don’t usually see on my trails.
Well, they barked at me through their fence anyway.
I riled up Kaiser and Lica and they barked at me from inside their house. And while my person stopped to talk to their person their cat was sneaking peeks at me from the yard.
What? Wait a minute! I didn’t see that cat.
You mean I missed a perfectly good opportunity to chase a cat.
I’d better take my person on more walks around the block.
I had a great time walking around the block today, but I don’t think my person liked it so much.
Because she put me up for foreclosure.
What’s foreclosure?
Is that related to golf?
Golf balls aren’t much fun to play with.
Tennis balls are better.
And they have love in tennis.
Could you change that sign, person?
Tennis balls and loves. Woo woo! What a combination!
Let’s go around the block again – as soon as that new sign goes up.

Your person needs more training, it’s obvious!
Foreclosure doesn’t sound nice, maybe you should change that sign, Bongo!

Marina, maybe I can stick a tennis ball on the sign and then give the sign lots of slobbery kisses – I mean loves.

Sounds like a great idea to me! 🙂

I’ve seen that dog face before, with similar results. Funny!

Floridaborne, usually my trails are my favorite place to go – but that thunder makes them dangerous. Thanks for stopping by and commenting.

You need a safe room when the thunder’s out there! Maybe the bank should foreclose on the thunder.

Diane and Lola, I’m heading down to the bank right now. Anything to get rid of the thunder.

Benny & Lily, I think all my person’s shirts must be thunder shirts because she doesn’t seem to be bothered by the thunder.

When will your person learn to listen to you!

Misty Shores, I think my person would be a lot better off if she did listen. But she doesn’t seem to get it.

Thunder is really dangerous because we often have tragedies that humans are hit by thunder and sadly die….very scary…please be careful when you go out while thunder is there, Bongo!

Kevin, I’ve been trying to convince my person of that. She still wants to go out in the thunder sometimes – but at least the last couple of days we went out in the morning instead – before the thunder shows up.

Oh, Bongo, I can feel the strain of the leash by seeing the first and second pics! You look very determined! What a pity that you have to make use of physical force because the stubbornness and obtuseness of your person! … sigh … She is a human!

Kolytyi, it’s a real challenge getting through to my person sometimes. She just doesn’t seem to get it.

I can’t believe you missed out on a chance to become furiends with a cat! Typist fell in love with your eyes in those first few pictures.

Dalton, I would have chased that cat but I was too busy worrying about the thunder to notice. I’ve never found a cat that would hang out and play with me. My person says I play too rough for most cats. I think if Gizmo – that cat that was here for awhile – had stayed longer we would have been good friends.

Bongo, you’re not really chasing cats, do you 😉

Little Binky, if you run I’ll chase you. It’s just a fun game. I’d never hurt a cat, but I’d sure like to find one that will play with me.

Collies, the squirrels around here are so scared of me that they won’t come out of the trees so I can chase them.
