Bible Study Buddy

28 Aug

Bongo and a friend in church officeWhat do you mean, this might be the last time I get to hang out with my Bible study buddy for awhile?

You know how much I like going to church. Why wouldn’t I get to go?

How am I going to keep up with my Bible stories if I don’t get to go to Bible study?

You know I’m the perfect dog when I’m there.

.

.

.

I don’t do anything like…

Bongo going after something in his friend's pocket

trying to steal chocolates out of my friend’s pocket.

And you know I would never…

Bongo on his back in front of a friend

try to be the center of attention.

No, all I do is lie there quietly and listen to what’s going on.

How come you didn’t get any pictures of me doing that?

You had plenty of opportunity.

So why don’t I get to go again?

What? Thunder season is almost over?

It is?

Yippee! Woo woo!

Wait a minute. You mean I got special privileges just because of the thunder?

Umm. Maybe you could tell the thunder to stick around longer.

Or then again – maybe not.

Now I’m all confused.

Can I just have special privileges without the thunder?

Bongo and a friend smiling

You know all my Bible study buddies are waiting to see me again.

Oh, Bongo, that was nice… thunder privileges!
But you are such a good pupil, Bongo, can’t they allow you to continue your studies?!!!
    🙂

Marina, I’m going to have to figure out how to keep going to Bible study. I wonder how I can make it thunder only on Bible study nights.

Since you are so good and never cause trouble sweet Bongo we think they should allow you to keep right on going. We hope you can come up with a plan so you can go without the thunder. Hugs and nose kisses

Chancy and Mumsy, I’m working on a plan. Maybe if I bring my own Bible they’ll let me come.

Cupcake, I know what you mean. I don’t see how they can even understand the lessons without me there.

Dogdaz, I’m with you on that one. Now I’ve just got to convince my person.

I agree Dalton. I don’t think they’d learn nearly as much without me there.

Oh! You have to persuade your person taking you to the bible study, Bongo! Or we couldn’t hear your wonderful Bible stories…..
P.S. I love the last picture of you because you look very happy!!! 🙂

Thanks Benny & Lily. He is a pretty good buddy – except he wouldn’t share his chocolate with me.

Lexie and Mica, I’m always the perfect dog – except when it’s break time. I need more breaks that the people do.

How cool!!! We collies used to go to the blessing of the animals and bark, and sing and make new friends… dad said we were a nuisance but everyone there loved it! -The collies ps Love your happy face!

Collies, I actually got to go to more Bible studies. I guess my person figured I wouldn’t be able to tell Bible stories if I didn’t. But I think we need a blessing of the animals here too. That sounds like fun.
