My person says they do – or at least this one lizard jumps.
She says she saw it jump twice.
I’ve never seen a lizard jump.
I’ve seen lots of lizards scurry away when I come near.
They usually keep going until they find a rock or a bush to hide under.
For some reason lizards don’t seem to like me.
I don’t know why. I’ve never bothered one.
But I’ve never seen a lizard jump.
Okay, I admit I was looking the other way when my person saw that lizard jump.
Or says she saw that lizard jump.
I think she’s making it up.
I don’t see any videos of a lizard jumping.
You’d think if she saw a lizard doing something so unusual she’d take a video of it.
It happened too fast?
Some excuse. You say it happened twice.
You should have been ready for it the second time.
I think we need some witnesses around here.
I’m inviting all my friends to come out on my trails with me.
We’ll see if anyone spots a lizard that jumps.

Benny & Lily, that must be some special lizard. Most of ours don’t jump at all – but they do push-ups sometimes.

No they don’t! They just vanish into thin air!!! It’s obvious!

Marina, I’m sure some of those lizards vanish into thin air. They disappear so quickly.

Agata, I think you’re right. This might be the only lizard on my trails that jumps.

Around here there aren’t any lizards, so I don’t know if they jump or not. Once I saw a cat hiding under a car. It didn’t jump. But I did!! Yikes!
Love and licks,

Cupcake, you’d jump for sure if you saw Scratchy – the cat I live with. He can be pretty scary.

see how quick I was…and yes ,,,lizards can jump, but I think it depends on the type of lizard…But you are right…your person should have taken photo as proof….

Patrecia, I agree. My person should have taken photos. Most of the lizards on my trails aren’t the jumping type.

Me neither…I haven’t seen that lizard jumps…..but if we see the last picture, we might think that it jumps…because his/her back legs look very muscular and he/she has strong eyes. 🙂

Kevin, this lizard definitely wasn’t like the lizards I usually see on my trails. So maybe it can jump – but I still want to see a video as proof.

I own the exact lizard u picture here n can vouch they jump. He loves to jump actually but when he’s scared he will scurry. They are great jumpers and love to dive into a pool or bowl of water too

Kara, I bet that’s cool to have a lizard for a pet. I’ve never seen any jump into water here, but that’s probably because there isn’t any water on my trails except when it rains. Thanks for stopping by and commenting.

Ginger, some dogs around here like chasing lizards. I don’t pay much attention to them.

I know there are small lizards that not jump but they may climb a wall and suddenly fall off.

Most of our lizards don’t jump – at least I’ve only seen that one lizard jump – but I’ve never seen one fall off a wall either.
