Waiting for the Camera

05 Oct

Two purple daisiesFinally!

My person let me go for a walk with her and her new camera.

Maybe it was because I helped her with her homework by jumping for all those pictures at the dog park.

Anyway, playing second fiddle to a camera is no fun. Now I’ve just got to figure out how to make that camera play second fiddle to me.

It’s okay to go on walks with that camera, but it’s much more fun without it.

I have to wait around while my person fiddles with the knobs and dials on that camera – and then finally takes a picture.

Purple flowers

And it’s never a picture of me.

Insect galls on scrub oak

What’s with all these strange things anyway?

They don’t even smell good.

And what makes it even worse is you can’t smell anything in a picture.

I’ll never figure out what people see in these pictures.

Guess I’ll just hang out here and wait.

My person will get tired of that non-smelly camera one of these days.

Well, you’ve got to give her credit though for those beautiful pictures. For non smelly ones, they are pretty nice!! 🙂

Thanks Marina. I wonder if my person could get a camera that adds smells to the pictures.

Maybe if you look sad and whine a bit she will get that camera aimed at you and get some fabulous pictures of you. We think pictures of you with the pretty flowers would be nice. Hugs and nose kisses

Chancy and Mag, maybe I should pose next to all the flowers on my trails. I pose really well as long as my person has treats in her pocket. Hugs and nose kisses back to you.

Sunshine, I can usually find something good to sniff or some weeds to chew on – which usually helps my person get going again (for some reason she doesn’t like me chewing on weeds). But I don’t know what she sees in those flowers.

Gorgeous pictures! But were they worth the wait?? From our doggie point of view. Uh….no. It’s all about us, B. At least it SHOULD be….

Cupcake, I so agree with you. Our people should be focused only on us.

Mom loves the pictures and pretty colors. It is storming with thunder and lightning here tonight and is going to stay all day tomorrow. We would be happy to lay there while your Mom takes pictures 😦

Your person’s new camera is very talented to show beautiful colors!!!! 🙂
These pictures are so clear as if we saw them in real. What is the plant of third picture which has fruits on it? Are they edoble?

    • Bongo

      October 6, 2013 at 2:24 pm

Thanks Kevin. The third picture is a scrub oak and what looks like fruits are actually insect galls. They grow bugs instead of something we can eat. Unless you want to eat the bugs, that is. I think lots of little bugs grow inside them.

Not only don’t those pictures smell, they don’t even have a taste Bongo!

No taste? There’s something totally wrong with that. I just can’t figure my person out sometimes.

Sometimes people find new toys and they just get all caught up in them. Don’t know why they just can’t be happy chewing on a nice new bone.

Lola, people just don’t get it sometimes. Bones are way better than any people toys I’ve seen.
