I don’t think my person trusts me. Today we were on the trails and some people and two dogs came toward us.
They stepped off the trail so we could pass. Usually my person makes me step off the trail, but this time they did it first.
Pretty cool because now we can walk right by those dogs and I can go over and say hi.
Well you know what my person did?
She grabbed my collar as we were walking by so when I tried to go see those dogs I ended up walking on my two hind legs.
I know people walk this way all the time but for a dog it’s undignified. I really don’t know what my person’s problem is – embarrassing me like that.
I’m nice to other dogs – – – sometimes.
We walked on and my person did it to me again.
We’d been hearing coyotes howling for awhile and we started getting closer. I thought those coyotes might be fun dogs to play with so I started pulling my person along toward them.
You know what she did this time?
She shortened my leash so I couldn’t catch her off guard and pull it out of her hand. Then she said something about those coyotes and about me being a dead dog.
Dead dog my foot. If you won’t let me have any fun person, I’m taking you back to the house.

No picture of you on two legs…well that would be something..l reckon those coyote could see you and person coming and that they were warning each other..the brave fearless dog is out there ..quick run and hide…. my hero!

Patrecia, my person said she couldn’t get a picture of me on two legs since she was the one holding me. And you’re right about those coyotes. I’m going to give them what for for sure.

Maybe those other dogs were not nice guys even though you probably could have taught them all about being a cool kinda guy. But you stay away from those coyotes! We’ve got them around here although they know enough to stay out of my yard – usually. Just like people, there’s some canines you just can’t trust.

Lola, those coyotes stay out of my yard, but they do hang out on my trails. I don’t think they should be there either.

Benny & Lily, my person says she never knows what I’m going to do around another dog. I don’t know what she’s talking about. I’ve got lots of dog friends on my trails that I get along great with.

The girls don’t always understand why we keep them from meeting some other dogs. Yes the girls can be scarey, but sometimes the other dogs may not be nice. BTW those coyotes are really bad news you and Mom need to stay away from them. Sorry you walk was cut short by others:(

We could usually protect you and Mom easily, Bongo. This usually leave when they see out size ( unless its a large pack)!

My person says they send a cute girl coyote to lure unsuspecting dogs into the pack. I’m not sure that’s true. I think those cute girl coyotes just like me and want to play.
