My person has an assignment for her photography class. She’s supposed to take pictures of fall.
That’s really hard on my trails. Except when we get flowers most things look about the same around here all year long.
So I thought I would help my person out.
I remember seeing fall colors somewhere on my trails.
Now if I could just remember where they were.
Oh yeah, here they are.
We had this one little spot of color last year about this time. It’s back again.
You’re in luck, person. That ought to make a great picture for your assignment.
I bet you’ll get an A for sure. I looked really hard to find that fall color for you.
Isn’t it beautiful?
What did you say, person?
You did what?
Hey, wait a minute! Those trees aren’t on my trails.
We don’t have mountains like that on my trails either.
What did you do person?
You went somewhere without me, didn’t you.
You took your camera again and left me at home.
If you get a bad grade on those pictures it’s not my fault.
You should have listened to me.
My trails have the best spot of fall color ever.
Besides, there’s no dog in your pictures.

Patrecia, I keep telling her. She’s got to take me along and put me in all the pictures.

Oh-Oh…
Well, I have to confess though, these pictures are so beautiful! You have to give her credit!
I’m sure she was thinking of you when she was taking those photos! 🙂

Marina, my person says thanks – but I’m really upset because she went by a creek and a pond and I could have gone swimming. And my person could have gotten pictures of me swimming.

Well, did she at least bring back any antlers or special treats?

Marina, she didn’t bring me anything. But she did stop and get me some treats on her way home from her photography class the other day. I think I ate most of them. I hope she gets me some more.

Your person is a great photographer. But she should take you to new places sometimes so you can sniff around.

Patricia, I so agree with you. But I have a hard time getting her to take me and that new camera at the same time. She keeps complaining that I pull on her leash so she can’t get a good picture. I’m just trying to show her a better place to take a picture.

Those fall pictures are great, but I agree with you, B. A picture without a dog is just….. A picture….. Ho hum.

Cupcake, my person says thanks, but somehow I’ve got to figure out how to get in all of her pictures from now on.

I think your right Bongo you found the best spot on your trails. Maybe Mom has to have several different types of fall colors too.

Lexie and Mica, my person only needs two pictures. I’m sure she could have taken two pictures on my trails. I would gladly pose for her next to that little bush.

Benny & Lily, my person says thanks. But I still think she needs a dog in the pictures before they qualify for an A.

You got it right Bongo buddy…what’s the point of a picture that doesn’t have a dog in it.?
Bongo
October 22, 2013 at 10:07 pm
Gizmo, you’d think my person would figure that out. I’d even pose for her any way she wants – as long as she gives me treats, that is.

We don’t get as many fall colors in Western Washington as other areas of the country too. We definitely get more than some though. Check out my latest hiking adventure to check out some of the best fall colors around these parts.

Jessica, I checked out your hike and the photos are beautiful. My person grew up in Western Washington but I’ve never been there. I think she needs to take me with her on vacation sometime. Thanks for stopping by and commenting.

poor, poor Bongo – tricked again. but on the flip side, your eyes feasted on some very nice photographs and well, you did point your person onto the fall path first. good on you! i bet your person already has a treat waiting for you to enjoy. 😆

Sun, I’m still waiting for the treats. My person says I don’t get any new treats until I’ve finished my old treats. No fair!

all pictures are fabulous to express fall, Bongo but the one you suggested your person to take the picture is so cute one, too! I’m sure she’ll get score “A” for the picture! 🙂

Thanks Kevin. The only thing that would make that picture better would be if I’m in it – and maybe you too.

Looks like your person snuck one by you bongo. Maybe you should lay yourself across the door so she can’t sneak by next time.

Great idea Lola. If she tries to sneak out she’ll trip over me.
