Check this out. Someone made me a sand pile.
I really don’t know what to do with it though.
Cats like sand piles. Maybe I should take it home to Scratchy.
Maybe he’d bury his claws in this sand and I’d never see them again.
Come on, person. Help me pick up this sand pile. We’ve got to take it home for Scratchy.
.
What do you mean, you won’t help me with it?
Well in that case…
Maybe I can cover up this sand pile with my shadow.
I wouldn’t want any other cats finding it and stealing it.
But maybe I should figure out who made this sand pile in the first place.
Hmm. Not much here.
There’s nothing that’s even worth smelling.
Yup, this smells better over here.
I think I’ll just check stuff out over here for awhile. Maybe a cat will show up and make that sand pile smell better.
Hey person, do you think we could go get Scratchy and bring him out to the sand pile?

Bongo, its so nice of you to think of poor Scratchy while out on your adventure. Did you tell him when you got home that you found a special for him, but your person didn’t let you bring it home? Maybe that would make him stop putting you in doggy jail.
psstt… he doesn’t need to know you were hoping he’d get lost in the special.

Kimberly, I’m trying to think of a way to get Scratchy really enticed so he’ll follow me all the way out on my trails.

I like the way you think Bongo. Great idea – bury the purr things. I’m off to see who is in the liter box. I got some shoveling to do. XOXO – Bacon

Bacon, that’s the one advantage of living with cats. Litter boxes – oh yeah, and cat food.

Oh yes – cat food. I love me some cat food. Darn that piggy gate that keeps me out of the kitchen. Cat food sounds so good right now – snorts. XOXO – Bacon

Yeah, I’m always having to sneak around to get cat food.

I just don’t understand the humans not wanting us to have it. Iams is good cat food. If it’s good for the purr things, why can’t I have it too? XOXO – Bacon

Sweet Bongo are you sure you really want to take sweet Scratchy out there? We bet you would miss him, probably not the claws though. That is a nice lookin’ sand pile. Hugs and nose kisses

Chancy and Mumsy, it’s tempting to take Scratchy out there but if I did that my person might lock me up in dog jail forever. Guess I’d better not do it.

Ooooo what a strange place to find a pile of sand, it looks good enough to dig in, no matter if you were a dog or a cat. Scratchy of course would love it but it would take a lot of work to carry it home. So just tell him about it instead and tell him that you thought that he would enjoy it.Maybe he would be really nice to you….there, s nothing like a bit of bribery…. xxxxxx

Patrecia, I’m not going to be nice to Scratchy until he lets me kiss him.

Lily, you’ll have to come out on my trails with me. We’d have a great time in that sand pile.

I’m pretty sure that’s an alien spacecraft under that sand, B. You may need to get your detective hat and check It out.

Cupcake, I bet you’re right. People say there’s an alien spacecraft in Bell Rock in another part of town. I bet this is a miniature version of that one. It’s shaped about the same.

Grains of mystery here. Your shadow is bound to keep it all in place

Karen, I wonder if I could get my shadow to slobber and congeal that mystery together.

Dalton, Scratchy would probably have a great time on my trails but my person won’t let him out of the house. I’m sure I could protect him from all those nasty coyotes.

Oh Scratchy would know exactly what to do with that sand pile. We had a little “incident” here when the water heater started leaking. Unfortunately, without thinking it through my husband dumped kitty litter on the puddle….yeah, you guessed it – seemed like a great cat box for moe!

November 8, 2013 at 7:31 pm
Lola, I bet Moe was the only one happy about that. Or maybe you were too. Did you get some cat treats out of it?

Nah, Diane caught on to what was going out and I got put outside until Moe’s mess got cleaned up. Geez, that sounded good saying ‘Moe’s’ mess…Lola

Lola, it’s great when our people learn that the cat’s the one to blame. Too bad you didn’t get any treats out of it though.

Ginger, I’d have to check that sand pile every day then, because that’s where he’d be leaving his treats.
