I Didn’t Walk in the Rain

23 Nov

Red leash on a towelPerson, I have no idea how this towel got out here under my leash because I wasn’t out getting wet in the rain.

No, I was a good dog. I spent all day while you were gone hanging out in my dog jail. You’re the one who let me out. You know I was in there.

By the way, that wasn’t very nice of you to send that nasty thunderstorm last night when I was stuck in my dog jail. I wanted to try to escape it. I couldn’t go anywhere.

I am not changing the subject. I was here all the time.

.

Can we go for a walk now?

I don’t care if it’s raining.

Toby wouldn’t let me go far enough to check on my puddle – I mean, I want to see how my puddle is doing. I haven’t seen it all day.

There’s some pretty cool waterfalls on my trails right now – I mean, I bet there’s some waterfalls right now with the rain and all.

What!!?

What do you mean, you saw a text message between me and Toby on your cell phone?

What do you mean you know I went out in the rain and got all wet?

You have no business checking my text messages.

I don’t care if it was on your phone. You’d better get me my own phone.

Well, can we go for a walk anyway? You need your exercise, person.

Bongo drinking from a small waterfall

See, I told you there were waterfalls on my trails right now.

Bongo in a large mud puddle

Look what happened to my puddle!

It turned into a mud puddle.

Bongo checking out suds in the water

At least my puddle left some suds nearby. After I get all muddy I can wash myself off.

OHHHH THAT LOOKS LIKE SO MUCH FUN BONGO!! Mommy and I like to walk in the rain and she would like it if I played in the mud puddles, but I’m ascared of water. It’s so big and scary and it moves. Your a bigger doggie than I am. It won’t wash you down the street, like it will me. You look like you had so much fun. I wish I was big and abrave like you Bongo.

Wall-E, my person says I’m a water dog. Every time I find water I’m in it. Swimming is one of my favorite things to do.

Woo hoo! Waterfalls, puddle, mud… what an exciting walk, Bongo!! The only thing missing is …fish in the puddle! 🙂 Is that your super dog towel?

Marina, your eyes are sharp. That is my Super Dog towel. Toby’s person dried me with it because it was pouring rain when we went out. But don’t tell my person about that. It can be our little secret.

Bongo, you didn’t locked up your person in dog jail, did you…MOL… Walking in the rain is so much fun and getting wet is even funnier… 😀

Little Binky, I’ve been having trouble convincing my person to get in my dog jail. I ate all my treats so I can’t get her to go in after a treat. And I agree, walking in the rain and getting wet is great fun.

Blue Eyed Chic, my person leaves and goes to her class – and then she says there’s good shopping near her school so she doesn’t come home right away. So I go hang out with my neighbor dog Toby – but don’t tell her I said that. Thanks for stopping by and commenting.

Rain walking isn’t my favorite thing. You’re braver than me, B. but don’t wash up in that suds puddle. I’m pretty sure it’s more mud than soap. You’ll end up getting a bath after all. Yikes!

Cupcake, I love water any way I can find it, but yeah, that sudsy stuff is probably pretty yucky. I think I’ll leave it alone.

Looks like walking in the rain is a fun thing to do on your trails. Maybe if you can’t have your own phone you can get your own line on your persons phone.

Patricia, however I get a phone I’ve got to make sure I get some privacy. I could get in real trouble if my person read all of my text messages.

Kevin, that stuff about me and Toby is just between you and me. What my person doesn’t know won’t hurt her. But it was really cool getting two walks in the rain.

You are very sneaky to be able to get out of your dog jail. I wish I could learn how to get out of my hutch on my own….

Writer Rabbit, maybe one of your neighbor rabbit friends can help you out of your hutch. Toby is my neighbor dog and he comes over and gets me out of my dog jail. Don’t tell my person though. She might not let me play with Toby any more.

Waterfalls are the best, even better than a sprinkler on a hot day.

Lola, I wish we’d get more waterfalls on hot days, but they only show up around here when it rains a lot.

Snoopy, rainy days are sometimes the best days for walks. There are so many surprises on my trails. I’m sure glad I didn’t have to stay in dog jail.
