Trail Block

04 Feb

Manzanita bush bloomingThere she goes again.

Taking pictures of flowers.

I’m in trouble from now till the end of summer.

There’s much better things to do than make your dog sit around and wait just so you can take flower pictures.

Manzanita blossoms

Didn’t you hear me?

I said there’s much better things.

Like maybe you should take notice of what’s going on around you.

Bongo near a line of rocks across the trail

Like this, for instance.

Just look at this!

Some do gooder is trying to block up my trails again.

They seem to do that all the time.

If there’s two ways to get somewhere they decide you only need one way and they block one off.

It doesn’t matter that everybody’s had those two options for years.

Don’t they know that variety is the spice of life?

Bongo looking like he wants something done about the rocks across the trail

Hey person, aren’t you going to do something about this?

Because this do gooder only blocked off one of the entrances to this trail.

So if I enter the trail on the unblocked side – I’ll eventually come around to this blocked part.

And if I’m an obedient dog that obeys all the trail blockings I won’t be able to cross over so I can continue on down the trail.

Then what do I do?

Hey person, if you take a picture of those flowers you’re going to have to cross over this blockade.

Thanks Kimberly. I’m starting to blush now. It’s a good thing you can’t see that under all my hair.

The bit that caught my eye most was the third paragraph from the bottom, starting, if I am an obedient dog…..ha! Ha!..that is not you Bongo…..

Patrecia, I am too obedient. I’m obedient to everything I want to do.

Fredrieka, we need to invent a camera that only aims at us.

Why would someone block your trails? That makes no sense. Your mom better stop taking flower photos and get unblocking your trail!

Hm, that’s a tricky one… maybe she should cross over that blockade, err to take more pictures of course! 😉 I know I’ve said that before, but she does take beautiful pictures! 🙂

Marina, my person says thanks. I’m not sure if I do though. She just got a new lens for her big camera and she’s been going out without me again.

You can do this, B. Back up a long way, run really fast, and JUMP as high as you can. You’ll be over that rock wall in no time. Or ….you could just step over it and move on.

    Love and licks,

Cupcake, will you come jump with me? Or maybe I could just move those rocks out of the way.

Thanks Dalton. I think I need another picture – kicking those rocks out of the way.

That pink flower is pretty! The shape of the flower looks like a lily of the valley! I can’t wait for looking at more flower pictures! *Oops!*

Lily, I’ll keep an eye out and make sure the trail police don’t see what she’s doing.

Sweet Bongo we need to get together and do something about these people taking pictures of things other than what is important. Mumsy was out taking pictures of ice yesterday while I was dancing all around her begging her to look at me. Something is all wrong with this picture taking and we need to do something to change things. Hugs and nose kisses Chancy!

Chancy, I so agree with you. I’m trying to figure out how to make a camera that will only aim at us dogs.

Huh – what’s up with that Bongo? You know what – take a deep breath, get a running start & do one of your fantastic giant leaps right over that blockade!

Diane and Lola, if I miss the jump I guess it won’t matter – because then I’ll kick the rocks out of the way.
