Cousins

04 Mar

Bongo leading a cousin to the trailI have what?

Cousins?

I don’t have any cousins.

Well, at least none that you know about.

You don’t even know who my real parents are.

What? Wait. What?

What do you mean, they’re not my cousins?

.

Then who’s cousins are they?

Your cousins?

You have cousins?

Oh. They’re coming to visit us?

They’re coming to visit us!

I’d better get busy.

I’ve got to get a training plan together.

I’ve got to train them right while they’re here.

How much time have I got?

They’re here?

Hey cousins. Here’s my leash.

Hold onto it and I’ll show you where my trails are.

Cousins on the trail without Bongo

These cousins are not doing a good job.

If they don’t hold onto my leash they’re going to get lost.

I’m sure of it.

Bongo and cousin

That’s much better.

At least I can keep one cousin from getting lost.

Bongo with cousin

Now, let’s see what kind of adventures we can run into.

Fredrieka, my cousin is pretty short. But I did have a great time with them.

Wow! It seems that you are in for some massive lovies. Get to absorbing them … and demanding them.

Patrecia, how could any cousin not be happy when they’re around me?

Those cousins look like fun. Hang onto them, B. They are clearly novices.

    Love and licks,

Cupcake, my person says they have dogs where they live – but I guess they have different trails. I’ll have to explain my trails to them.

Ah, Bongo, that’s so nice, showing the cousins your trails and keeping them safe! 🙂
PS I love that grin on the last shot!

Lily & Edward, all people seem to need training. I don’t think any of them have any instincts.

Bongo, next time maybe you should tell the cousins to bring an extra leash so neither will get lost! I hope you showed them all sorts of great adventures.

FireBonnet, an extra leash is a great idea. Maybe I should have my person get a guest leash.

I like that idea! And actually, you only need to have one leash on, and the other guest can leash to the one you’re leading! Kind of like kindergarten for cousins.

Well you’ve got one taken care off. Maybe your person could get a few more leashes…no wait, tie everyone together with a rope around their waists!

Lola, what a great idea. I bet my leash would actually work to tie everyone together. It gets pretty long.

Nancy, I’m beginning to think that cousins are great fun to have. Even if I have to borrow my person’s cousins.
