Too Many Piles

26 Mar

Bongo next to a pile of rocks in a washI don’t believe it!

Someone ran out of room in their rock pile spot and now they’re even building rock piles in my wash.

This is a silly place to build rock piles.

Don’t they know this is a wash?

As soon as we get a good rain the water will come roaring down here and take that rock pile away.

Oh, wait.

When was the last time we had rain here?

That rock pile might be safe after all.

So anyway, since that rock pile in the wash might wash away I’m going to leave it alone.

And invade the rock pile spot instead.

Bongo among many piles of rocks

Every time I walk by here there are more piles of rocks.

They’re running out of room to even put more piles.

So I think I’ll do them a little favor.

So they have a chance to do some more piling…

Bongo knocked over a few rocks

I think I’ll knock a few of these rocks to the ground.

momwithoutpaws would rather deal with those piles instead of the piles she is finding now that the snow is melting.. She keeps saying something odd to me and Ol Cissy.. “You two are real shitsters”

Fredrieka, tell your mom to ignore those piles and help you look for toys instead.

there are a lot of rocks in your wash..is that because it is so dry…there ‘s not a lot you can do with rocks. You cannot dig a hole and bury something in there. I suppose you could bury the rocks but that does seem a bit daft….. put on your lovely Detective hat

Patrecia, I would probably dig up more rocks while I was trying to bury some. Then what would I do? I live in a rocky kind of place.

Why do people build rock piles, Bongo? It seems like an odd thing to us, then again rocks are odd things to us anyway…

Pigs, there are rock piles on trails all over Sedona where I live. It’s kind of a New Age kind of thing but I don’t get it. I think we’re just fine in the old age. Oh wait, I get it now. If I got into the new age I wouldn’t be in old age and I could be young again. Maybe that’s why people build rock piles. So they can be young.

Why are there so many rock piles anyway? I think we would knock some down too.

Lexie and Mica, rock piles show up on trails all over Sedona. Some New Age thing. It doesn’t make sense to me. More fun to knock them down.

I think knocking them down is a perfect thing to do! In gives people a chance to rebuild them and get young some more.

FireBonnet, you’re right. I’m doing those people a favor. The rock piles on other parts of my trails where more people walk were always getting knocked down. I think that might be why the rock piles moved over near my wash. It must be my job to knock these rock piles down.

Hmmmm…weird, isn’t it? Those rock piles don’t have to be on your wash…where it’s your lovely place to play. Good idea to know them to the ground, Bogo…I’d love to help, but please be watch your head not to hit.

Kevin, those tall piles really are kind of dangerous. I’ll make sure I avoid them it there’s a wind storm. I think those piles are showing up in my wash because they first started showing up on the part of my trails where lots of people and dogs walk and they were always knocked down in a couple days.
