And the Clues Lead to…

27 Mar

Bongo and a rock pileI was walking along the wash on my trails today, like I do almost every day – when I saw it.

Rock piles have been showing up everywhere and here was yet another one.

One of these days every rock on my trails will be part of a pile.

This might cause a serious problem.

If one of those rock piles falls over, a lizard might get smashed.

Or a rabbit.

Or maybe even a dog!

I decided I’d better get on my Detective Dog hat…

.

.

Bongo looking cool with his Detective Dog hat on

And look for clues.

And I found them.

Clues, that is.

I discovered that I’d better watch my step…

An eye drawn on a rock

Because someone is keeping an eye on me.

And they obviously know my secret identity.

I found an S on my trails the other day…

S's drawn on a rock

And now here are more.

They obviously know that I’m Super Dog.

But they also know…

A star and crescent moon drawn on a rock

That I’m the star of the show.

***

And here it is.

The final clue.

I know everybody’s been waiting anxiously to find out who’s been building all these rock piles.

Strange animal face drawn on a rock

Now all I have to do is find this culprit.

I am going to print out that photo and put it on my wall. There is just something about that one eye that makes you look so handsome and mysterious. As for all those rocks..I would like to know who is piling them up , one on top of another….and now strange writingslike in Egyptian times, called something like hyrographics or some weird name. Have you uncovered something unkniwn to modern civilisation?

Patrecia, you’re making me blush when you talk about my picture. But I’m thinking it might be those aliens again doing all that strange stuff. The drawing of the culprit definitely looks like an alien.

Is this going to turn out to be a rocky horror picture show?
Those lizards are glad you’re on the hunt…little smashed lizard toes at the first of the spring/summer season would be so sad!

Karen, if I see lizards and other creatures singing and dancing I’ll know it’s a rocky horror picture show.

Fredrieka, I sure hope we don’t have any ants that big on my trails. The ants on my trails are pretty good at building their own temples, but they’re much smaller.

Oh my. This is such a mystery. We can’t have those rocks falling. Are you sure that someone is actually doing this? I mean, look at my pet rocks. They have a life of their own and can do almost anything. 🙂 XOXO – Bacon

Bacon, you’re right. That’s another possibility. Those rocks might be having jumping contests to see who can jump the highest and they end up piling themselves up.

It’s a possibility my friend. You know those rocks. They have a mind of their own. Snorts. XOXO – Bacon

No, B. Do NOT find him. He is a scary alien. He might dognap you!

Love and licks and stay away from flying saucers,

Cupcake, I was thinking the same thing. I might have to put up warning signs on my trails to warn everyone if they see him to stay away.

People like making rock piles! It’s kind of funny, isn’t it?

Jen, one or two might be kind of funny – but the rock piles seem to be taking over my trails.

Kolytyi, I never thought of that. Is Scratchy doing things behind my back now? Maybe I should put that cat in his place.

Kevin, I’ve been sneaking around on my trails. I don’t want the alien to know what I’m doing.
