Yard Contraband

11 Apr

Bongo with a flower in front of his faceSomebody must be out to get me.

Here’s what happened.

A long time ago – way before I came to live here, my person planted some bulbs in the yard.

She says flowers used to come up from them every year.

I’m not sure if I believe her.

All I’ve ever seen come up in this spot are long green things.

But today, when we came back from our walk on my trails I spotted them.

Right in my yard!

This is terrible!

I don’t know who made them grow like this, but my person will probably want to come out here and take pictures of them – and leave me in the house.

What to do? What to do?

Bongo's nose sniffing a flower

They don’t smell good enough to eat.

But I’ve got to do something with them before my person discovers they’re here.

Oh well, here goes!

Bongo with the leaves but no flower showing

Whew! Problem solved.

Now on to my next snack adventure.

Marina, great idea. I wonder which of my girlfriends I’ll see first.

Epicaldragon, I really didn’t eat them. I just hid them so my person would think I ate them.

Little Binky, I missed you. My person’s been too busy to do much blog visiting. You’ll have to check out my post tomorrow though. It’s all about cats.

That’s one way to rid yourself of attention-stealing flowers! Though whee probably would have just eaten them…

Pigs, could you come over here and help me with the flowers? I bet you’re great at finishing them off.

Kevin, I really didn’t eat it. I just hid it. If my person thinks I ate it she won’t try to take pictures of it.

I’ve had a thought pal and it is the bestest thought in the whole world!!If you had lots of flowers and stuff in your yard… and well… then your human would tire herself out taking photos of plants in the yard….and and and so she would be all like bored of them when you were out on your trails and so she wouldn’t take any more photos when you are out meaning optimum exploring time for you!!!

Great idea Dalton. I think I’ve got to dig up some flower seeds somewhere. Oh wait, I mean dig holes and put seeds in them.
