My person must have been feeling guilty about not taking me to play with all those kids at Vacation Bible School…
…because she brought me a new friend.
It’s not every day that I get a new friend, so I was really excited when she showed up.
But I got kind of worried.
She might run out of room on her face for painting and try to paint mine.
.
.
.
So I decided to take her for a walk.
She started out to be a great walker.
Waiting patiently while I checked my messages.
Well, I thought she was waiting patiently.
Come on, new friend.
I’m not finished checking my messages yet.
This is really bad.
My person must have given my new friend lessons.
She’s yanking on my leash just like my person does.
I’d better explain to her what a disaster it could be if I miss an important message.
Wait a minute, new friend.
You don’t get it.
I’ve got to go back.

Does anybody know where there’s a training class to teach people how to walk their dogs?

Some people will never learn…even new friends. 🙂

Epicaldragon, my new friend is pretty nice so I’m going to try. I’m signing her up for dog walking school.

I like her, B. But she’s definitely a human. That pulling is part of their DNA….
Love and licks,

Cupcake, you mean there’s no hope? I guess I’ll have to put up with it then. She’s pretty nice otherwise.

Oh, no, she’s learned the human way. Now, there’s no turning back! You have to teach them from an even younger age Bongo, and I know a great teacher: YOU!!!! Well, at least you made a very very cute new friend! 😉

Marina, I guess I’ll have to start with babies – before they even learn to walk. If they’re crawling they can’t pull very hard – can they?

Exactly! 😉

What a cute little friend you have sweet Bongo. We see she has you on a very short leash, so you will need to train her to give you a bit more room to move around. We bet you can train her to wait until you read your messages too. The two of you sure look sweet walking together. Hugs and nose kisses

Chancy and Mumsy, I hope my new friend comes back soon so I can start her training. Hugs and nose kisses back to you.

Bumpy Road, it was really cool getting little girl loves. Almost as good as Love Bug’s. But not quite.

Oh, Bongo, first I was jealous when I read you’ve had a new furriend, but now I’ve seen her, it’s completely gone. Little two feet girls are lovely even if they don’t know how to walk with a dog…but they’re kneadable, so teach her 😉

Little Binky, I’m glad you decided not to be jealous. The best thing about little girl friends is the little girl loves that you get. I’ll work on the walking part with her.

Bongo – she’s got a big blue heart – and you are a true blue friend with a big heart. Perfect match ( don’t worry, you’ll get her trained soon)

Karen, I hope she comes back again soon. I’m getting excited to give her those walking lessons.

What a cute friend. Too bad she isn’t a better walker.

Patricia, she’s cute enough that I’m willing to put in the extra time to train her.

What a pretty friend she is! But yes….that is a problem…..you have to train her to teach how you walk on your trails and she has to be patient…she is young, so surely she will learn it soon!

Angel Kevin, I’m hoping my new friend comes over again soon because I really want to give her some more walking lessons.
