Eat Beans Day
Today is Eat Beans Day.
I was so excited when I heard that.
I mean, any holiday that has to do with food is okay by me.
I got out my can of beans and was ready to go when my person had to spoil the fun.
She reminded me of the last time I celebrated Eat Beans Day.
It wasn’t even on the right day so it shouldn’t count.
But I suddenly didn’t have an appetite for beans anymore.

Who Spilled the Beans?

Hey person, look at this pretty pattern I made on the carpet. Doesn’t it look nice?
What? I’m in trouble for that? No way!

.
I didn’t do it person. Honest, I swear. Scratchy did it. Look, he’s standing right over there. I just saw it and thought it was pretty. You know how much he likes to go counter surfing.
What do you mean, most of the beans are missing? I don’t know what happened to them. Did you check under the furniture? Maybe Scratchy ate them.
I bet he could. I bet Scratchy could eat that many beans if he really put his mind to it. Can we go for a walk now? I really feel like I need to go for a walk.
Aaaahhhhh! That feels much better. Relief!
What!? You found the missing beans? Oh no!
Busted!!!
Short Stacks
A long time ago some strange rock piles appeared where the boys used to hang out near my trails.
Those rock piles stayed in that spot for a very long time.
And more and more rock piles showed up there.
There were so many that I don’t think anybody could walk around there anymore.
I was going to check it out but my person wouldn’t let me.
She said those rock piles were taller than me and a rock might fall on my head.
I’m not sure why she was worried.
She says I have a hard head.
I think it was just her excuse to keep me away from there.

But today, as I walked by that spot things were different.
The rock piles had shrunk – and some had gone away completely.
Guess I’d better check for clues.
I’ve got to know what happened around here.

This is bad.
This is really bad.
There are so many mixed messages around here that I’ll never sort it all out.
Guess I’ll just leave one of my own.
Spam
I got really excited.
Because my person told me this would be a post about Spam.
So I got out a can of Spam and waited for my person to open it for me.
I mean, how can I write a post about something good to eat unless I scarf it down roll it around on my tongue and savor every last bit of it.
Then I can explain to you how great it tastes and tell you that you should get some too.
But my person wouldn’t open the can.
What does she want me to do?
Open it with my teeth?
I’ll do that if I have to.
My person told me this post was about another kind of spam.
What other kind of spam is there?
What do you mean, the kind I get on my blog all the time.
She must be hiding it from me or something, because if I got all the spam she says I do I’d be the happiest dog alive.
And I’m not.
Well, sometimes I get other treats – and then I am.
There’s one thing I want to know though.
WHERE’S MY SPAM?!!!

Words and messages?
I’m getting words and messages that I don’t want on my blog?
And this one was the most creative one of all?
If it’s so creative why don’t I want it?
I should let everybody reading my blog decide for themselves?
(Big sigh.) Okay, here’s what it says.
“Hello, i read your blog from time to time and i own a similar one and i was just wondering if you get a lot of spam comments? If so how do you stop it, any plugin or anything you can suggest? I get so much lately it’s driving me mad so any help is very much appreciated.”
