Pointing the Wrong Way

07 Oct

Bongo on the trail looking backNo no no, person.

You’re doing it all wrong.

You’re pointing your camera the wrong way.

You’re supposed to be pointing it at me.

.

.

.

.

What are you doing anyway?

There’s nothing interesting over there.

Sugarloaf lit in sunlight with the moon above it

Sugarloaf lit up with the moon above it

I’m not sure why, but I have this sudden urge to howl.

That red rock looks magical but is somewhat imperfect. Yes, a Bongo-silhouette is missing from the top of it!

Kolytyi, I’ll have to climb up there. Then my person couldn’t help but take pictures of me.

    That’s definitely worth a howl
(Tomorrow morning just before sunrise, we’re supposed to see a blood red moon and total lunar eclipse…5:30-5:45 am…Already told Molly to wake up early and get ready to hike to the lake to view…not sure about camera ability….)

Karen, the blood moon was totally clouded over here and we didn’t get to see it.

Tonight we had lunar eclipse here!!! We enjoyed watching it! Those two pictures are beautiful! Of course the first one of yours, too! 🙂

Kevin, we didn’t get to see the lunar eclipse. It was totally clouded over. My person got a few pictures when the eclipse was starting because the moon was popping in and out of the clouds, but then it stopped popping out. Glad you got to enjoy it.

It’s especially beautiful when the sun hits it just right as it’s going down.
