Litter Bugs

26 Jun

Bongo checking out litterI am so upset. My trails are usually kept really clean, but the other day I found that stuff left by the crack creatures – and now this. And there aren’t even any cracks around this part of my trails.

So who can be leaving this stuff?

They’re obviously friends of the crack creatures – or – maybe they’re not.

Maybe they’re having a littering duel. To see who can litter the most.

This is terrible! This means I could be finding more litter on my trails. I’m going to have to do something about this.

I know! I’ll get one of those litter bugs. Or maybe a whole army of litter bugs. They get rid of litter, don’t they?

They could go wandering along my trails and eat all the litter they find. The way things are going lately they would find plenty to eat.

There’s just one thing I still have to figure out.

Once the crack creatures and those other guys run out of litter to leave on my trails – what do I do with the litter bugs?

Sweet Kitten, I guess Super Dog could corral all those Litter Bugs when they run out of litter.

Bongo I think a good thing to do is to get a whole back of litter bugs & if you find these trash people, dump the bugs in their pants!

Diane, that’s a great idea. The Litter Bugs would take care of the problem for sure.

Ginger always has such great ideas. Maybe I could even slingshot the Litter Bugs into the littering creatures. I can see them flying now.

Mom thinks litter is careless, dirty, and just plain sad. I LOVE it! Yesterday, I found an empty popcorn bag, a broken piece of bagel, and a million sunflower seed shells at the baseball field. What a great day.

    Love and licks,

Cupcake, it is fun when we find litter that either tastes good or smells good, isn’t it?

It’s great when volunteers take trash bags on the trail to clean up, but they shouldn’t need to. There’s almost always a trash can at the trailhead and I can’t figure out why people don’t just use it.

Shary, there’s a trash can at our trailhead too. Most people use it, but not everyone. My person took that last litter I found and put it in there.

Sometimes we find litter in our park (the high school is right next door). Elka’s job at home is to pick up empty cans and plastic bottles, so we do that at the park as well!

I’m not fond of litterbugs. I hope you find them and give them a good swat on their rear ends. They deserve it, if you ask me. 😉

Oh, no a litter duel? (Or is it something trying to mark territory?)
Hope you can sniff this one out, Bongo.
Ebay the litter bugs – there’s bound to be a market….some people will buy anything. (or the litter bugs may just march off on their own if they are hungry?)

Great idea Karen. I can sell those litter bugs and make some extra money for treats.

Oh no….your trails are your territory Bongo, people or crack creature or whoever it is, they shouldn’t leave litters ….*whispers * This time, what did it smell inside? *very curious look* 🙂

Kevin, that bag smelled really good. Cheetos. Mmmm. But my person said we had to take it to the garbage.

Bongo, if you find the one who makes all the mess, you give him what for and give him back his litter. You have to stand up for your clean trails 🙂

Angels Whisper, I’ll have to stuff some of that litter back down the cracks.

I agree with Angelswhisper! Or put down a board, to keep your trails clean?

Dianda, maybe I should put a new sign on my message board. Anyone who litters is gonna get what for.
