Blue’s not a Blessing

30 Aug

Blue SkyYou see that picture there? You know what that is? It’s the most beautiful blue sky I’ve ever seen. And you know why it’s so beautiful? Because I haven’t seen a sky like this since thunder season started. This sky has no clouds in it. And no clouds means no thunder.

But somehow this cloudless sky worked against me. Because my person saw this blue sky too, and she decided that since there was no thunder she didn’t have to stay home and protect me from it.

And she left.

And she didn’t take me with her.

She went somewhere with a swimming hole. I’ve never gotten to go swimming with the ducks before.

Ducks on the Creek

I’m not sure where my person went, but she was gone so long I think she went all the way to Mexico. I thought maybe if I looked at the pictures in her camera I could figure out where she did go – and now I have proof that she went to Mexico.

Gomez

When I quizzed my person about the pictures in her camera she said this dog is named Gomez.

And then I found a picture of my buddy Pablo. Pablo was born in Mexico. I haven’t seen him in a long time so he must have gone back there.

Pablo

My person says she didn’t get anywhere close to Mexico, but a picture is worth a thousand words.

Next time person, you’d better hide your camera.

Shame Bongo – the first day you could comfortably go for a non-scary walk and your person left you for other dogs and a duck?!?!?

Susan, I don’t get it either. Then to make it worse, she didn’t come home until after dark and I never did get a walk. Next time she’d better take me. I want to check out those ducks.

That was sneaky Bongo looking at the photos..you might have seen something that you should not be looking at. Not all photos are suitable for viewing by Bongos’
I love the blue sky…shame you did not get to swim with the ducks but I think that you might chase them

Patreciau, it would be fun chasing those ducks, but I love swimming so much that I would probably ignore them – as long as people kept throwing me sticks to fetch.

ah see..if you had Lizard as a friend you could not play ‘throw sticks’ as he might get hurt

Sandy, I think I’d better learn more about those Dogfuscious sayings. They sound like they’re right on. Thanks for stopping by and commenting.

Rumpy, my person really is pretty nervy sometimes. She didn’t even get home in time to let me take her for a walk.

Maybe there was thunder in Mexico. You’re better off staying at home, just in case.

Cupcake, I never thought about there being thunder in Mexico. I guess I’ll stay home and hope we don’t get any more.

Wow, I can’t believe your person went all the way to Mexico without you. That was very shrewd of you to figure that out by investigating what was in the camera.

Bosun Dawg, they don’t call me Detective Dog for nothing. But I don’t think my person should be leaving me like that. She needs me around for protection.

Oh, sweet Bongo, now you have to be afraid of the nice weather too, meaning to be left alone on a sunny -afternoon- day. Life can be so unfair 😦

Angels Whisper, it seems like I just can’t win. But next time, I’m jumping in the car.

Your person really isn’t nice to you!! Paw Bingo, I may not want to come and live with you now, you should come live with me instead – and we have less thunder!!

I’m sure there was a reason for this Bongo! At least you were left thunderfree and as Cupcake says, you never know whether there was thunder in Mexico, so you were probably better off!

Marina, I think sometimes my person wants to go have fun without me. It doesn’t make sense to me – after all, I’m one of the most fun-loving dogs there is.

“Next time person, you’d better hide your camera.” or take you to Mexico with her.
Gomez and Pablo are really small, aren’t they?
The blue sky, for me, is strong sunshine…. I don’t like direct solar contact, less in summer.

YouKai, I think the best thing is for my person to take me with her. I’ve met Pablo before and he’s pretty small. Gomez is even smaller. Blue sky in the summer here is very hot, but at other times of the year it can be a very nice day.

Hmmm…Gomez and Pablo….yes, surely your person must have been to Mexico! *whispers* They look cute, aren’t they? *hem hem* Wow! How beautiful the blue sky is! *whispers* Mexico is far from your place? You need to take an airplane? Doggies are allowed to be on the airplane in USA? Woof?

Kevin, Gomez and Pablo are pretty cute. I went hiking with Pablo once and we had fun. I’ve never been to Mexico, but my person says we can drive there in a few hours. It’s not too far to the border, but we might have to take an airplane if we were going further south in Mexico. Doggies can be on airplanes, but my person says a big dog like me wouldn’t be able to ride where the people are.

Misaki, usually I hate having to wait for my person to take pictures. This time it gave her away.

Ginger says let the air out of her tires and she will have to take you for a walk…. if that dont work hide her keys……if that dont work a pile of dog dropping on the driver seat will stop her for a few hours… hehehehe
