My person went off to Colorado and I’m stuck in the dog hotel. I wasn’t allowed to bring the computer with me so I take no responsibility for what is posted on my blog.
Lately my person has been making me hang out and wait a lot while she gets her camera out to take pictures. It’s flower season again on my trails but the globe mallow usually hangs out all summer long.
.
.
.
For some reason these flowers just started coming out this year. A couple of them tried to make it early in the summer but they fizzled out. It was really hot and dry before that dreaded thunder season started.
These flowers grow on bushes and when they have all summer to grow the bushes sometimes get really big.
But I think my person is spending far too much time with her camera.
Time to go.

Thanks Sweet Kitten. It’s no fun when my person takes off without me. I don’t think she should be allowed to go without taking me along.

This is terrible..poor Bongo locked up like a jailbird. And you look so sad! I shall send you a file so you can get yourself out….it will be concealed in a juicy bone.
We could start a petition… FREE BONGODOG
but I did like the pretty flowers xxxx

Thanks Patreciau. That file would be great. Even if it doesn’t work I would have fun getting it out of that juicy bone.

If humans in jail turn body builders, and get law degrees – I can only fret what is happening to you, Bongo! Even RC Cat is concerned (she of the no animals behind bars movement) but says friends make most any situation better.
Bongo
October 1, 2012 at 6:43 pm
Karen, I’m sure glad you and even RC are my friends. I have a few friends here too – but don’t tell my person. She might think I’m having too much fun and send me here all the time.

Try to enjoy yourself, but don’t tell your humans if you do! If they think you were sad they’ll probably get you lots of toys, treats and cuddles:-)

Misaki, I do have some good buddies to play with here, but when my person comes back to get me I’ll pull the so sad and can’t wait to get out of here looks.

We are so sorry you are back at the kennel! Our mom tells us she managed a kennel for 10 years, and went out of her to pay attention to all the dogs…and our girl is working there now. She is following in mom’s footsteps! We hope you have people working at your kennel who love dogs as much as our people! And we hope you get to go home soon!

October 1, 2012 at 6:45 pm
Kat n Collies, there are some nice people at this kennel. But don’t tell my person that. She might make me stay here more often.

I hate to be the one to have to tell you, but that “hotel” looks an awful lot like JAIL! What’s up with that? Should I bake a biscuit with a saw in it?
Love and licks,
Cupcake

Cupcake, please bake a biscuit with a saw in it. Even if the saw doesn’t work I can at least eat the biscuit.

Bongo! That’s not a dog hotel! It’s a dog JAIL! We’ve gotta bust you out!
Your mallow is very pretty. I love the color. I have zebra mallow in my yard and it takes over the side garden every summer.

FleaByte, if all my blogging friends get together, maybe you can bust me out of here. My person says she used to have a great big globe mallow plant in the back yard, but it got taken out when she had some work done in the yard.

You could come rescue me from the dog hotel. Oh, my person says to tell you she got to hang out with Kitty and Earl for awhile today.
