Fairies

11 Oct

Purple Flowers and a Flower FairieI keep waiting for the flowers to go away so I don’t have to stop every time my person wants to take a picture of them. When they’re gone we’ll be able go twice as far in the same amount of time.

But at least now I’m getting some hope. Did you notice what’s hanging out with these flowers? There are big ones.

.

.

.

Purple Flower with tiny Flower Fairies

And little tiny ones. Fairies are everywhere on these flowers.

And you know what fairies do? They go flying off with the flowers. I’ve seen them floating around in the air – and soon there won’t be any flowers left.

I’m not sure how those fairies do it. Maybe they take those flowers and drop them into a giant hole in the ground. Or maybe they pull the flowers apart petal by petal and leave them to shrivel up and die.

Whatever they do, it’s alright with me. Anything to keep my person from stopping all the time to take pictures.

But there’s one thing I hope those fairies don’t do.

Fairies, please don’t take away my weeds.

Alex and Penny, I guess I should appreciate those flowers. It makes it easier to get my person out on my trails so I can check my messages.

I’m pretty sure fairies don’t take away weeds! Unless they are weed-fairies, maybe?

Dianda, I’ll hope there are no weed fairies on my trails.

I think the fairies make furniture out of flowers…or so my granny said. (maybe their house isn’t ready yet, so they haven’t collected furnishings?)

Karen, flower furniture would be pretty cool. All the beautiful colors and it would smell good too.

One man’s weeds are another man’s flowers! That’s you Bongo. You appreciate the value of ALL living things. Flowers – boo. Weeds – yay! And yum!

    Love and licks,

Cupcake, I’m with you. Weeds are much better than flowers.

I think the flowers are very pretty Bongo and I see why your Mom stops to take the pictures. But I understand how frustrating it is to keep stopping and not get to walk very far. I think you are safe with your weeds, I sure fairies don’t like weeds 🙂

Lexie and Mica, those weeds must be pretty safe. So far I haven’t seen any fairies hanging around them.

Hey Bongo, Jet here. Hi Miss Laura.

Gorgeous photos Mom says! You’re a hoot, dude… love your thoughts about fairies… sorry we haven’t visited lately… we’ll try to catch up!

Hey Jet, thanks. My person has been so busy she’s just now catching up with three days of comments. She says she might have more time after this week – but I think I have to spend another couple days at the dog hotel before then.

Ginger, good idea. Those fairies wouldn’t dare destroy the messages on them.

Bongo, I think the fairies end up in your nose to make you sneeze… or in a book 🙂

Angels Whisper, I’ll make sure to cover my nose to keep the fairies out.

Misty Shores, I’m sure glad to hear that. They can take the flowers – just leave my weeds.
