Did someone say cookies? It’s what? National Cookie Day?
This is awesome! There’s a holiday for cookies!
So what are you doing, person?
You’re celebrating the holiday by starting your Christmas cookie baking?
You’re for sure making some cookies for me, aren’t you?
What do you mean, those are people cookies? It’s National Cookie Day. Shouldn’t I get some cookies too?
Just look at those delicious cookies. There’s lots of them there. You wouldn’t miss just one.
There’s only a little bit of chocolate. I’ll eat around the chocolate and leave it for you. I promise.
Wait a minute! You made mouse cookies? Are you making cookies for Scratchy and not for me?
You’d better be telling me the truth. If I don’t get cookies then Scratchy better not either.
For me? These are for me? Seriously?
I love National Cookie Day.
Hey person. National Cookie Day isn’t over yet. You still have time to make some homemade dog cookies.

Wow you are so lucky. Me and Nellie never get such tasty treats. Mummy is not one of lifes bakers. She says her baking always seems to get sunburnt. Love Nellie and Jasper.

Jasper, my person doesn’t bake very often except at Christmas time. Then she makes lots of cookies. I’m still waiting for the homemade dog cookies though.

Karen, treats are good every day. My person has a calendar that has all kinds of strange holidays on it – and lots of them are about food. That was where she found out about National Mutt Day too. I like that calendar.

Susan, my person has a calendar that has all kinds of strange holidays on it – holidays that hardly anybody knows about. She found the mouse cookies online when she was looking for information about National Cookie Day and decided to try them. She says they’re real easy to make. I bet they’re really easy to eat too, but she won’t let me have any.

Hey Bongo, Jet here.
So, were the mice for Scratchy? Glad you got a treat too, Dude. Didn’t like your odds, though… there were too many for humans, too few for Bongo! (Looking out for ya, Dude.)

December 4, 2012 at 11:17 pm
Hey Jet, the odds certainly were in favor of humans – but Scratchy didn’t get to eat those mice or any other cookies. So I guess I came out ahead.
