We’re going up where, person? To the top of Sugarloaf? But person, we hardly ever go up there and it looks like it’s starting to disappear. What happens to us if we’re up there and it disappears?
I’m not going up there.
.
.
.
You see this? There’s water here. There’s never water on my trails except sometimes when my puddle shows up.
You go and disappear on Sugarloaf. I’ll be up a creek if you want to find me.
Wait a minute. I said I was going up this creek. Where are you taking me? We never go this way.
See person, you shouldn’t have gone this way. If that cactus hadn’t been there to stop you, you would have slipped all the way down the hill in that squishy mud. You didn’t get any pricklers did you?
Do you think you can pick those pricklers out at home?
I’m feeling all washed up.
What!? We’ve got to keep going?
***
Okay, I think I’m in the clouds now.
Can you see me?
You mean I haven’t disappeared yet?
Good, because I’m ready to go.
What do you mean, this isn’t the right way to go?
***
Hey, look at my puddle! Why didn’t we just come here? I’ve never seen it this deep before. Do you think the deepness has something to do with those boys who dug the dirt out of it?
Hey person, stop taking pictures of me when I’m exploring.
You can take pictures of this instead.
That’s not fair. You didn’t take any pictures while I was jumping on you. You’re all muddy now, you know.
I thought this was a dry wash.
Hey person, I bet you can wash all that mud off yourself here.

wow!!! that looks very …muddy, Bongo!!!!
Must feel really nice to the paws, huh? I don’t know about your person though! I hope she was wearing the right gear!!!
BTW you look great in the clouds!

Marina, it was very nice and muddy out, but I got the muddiest when I got to wade in my puddle – it was so deep. I made sure I shared all that mud with my person. For some crazy reason she threw her jacket and pants in the washer after we got home. She didn’t worry about her boots though. I guess she wants to go back out and get them muddy again.

That was one wet, muddy, messy walk into the cloud, B. I hope you didn’t need a B-A-T-H afterwards. Your tail looks like it was dipped in paint at the tip.
Love and licks,

Cupcake, when we got back home my person put me in the back yard and wouldn’t let me in the house until she covered me with shampoo and sprayed me off with the garden hose. I like it when she does that and I try to catch all the water in my mouth – but it was kind of cold this time.

Will and Eko, my person made me go in the backyard and wouldn’t even let me in the house until she covered me with shampoo and hosed me off. That water was cold, but it was fun trying to catch it all in my mouth. My person gave her jacket and pants a bath too. I thought they were kind of pretty with those mud spots on them.

Benny & Lily, I’m sure glad I didn’t disappear too. Who knows where I would have gone to.

Wow! Into the clouds must make you feel very mysterious and special, Bongo! You look so wet and muddy on your walk today….please dry you up before catching a cold, Bongo and your person! 🙂

Kevin, my person made me go in the backyard after our walk and she wouldn’t let me in the house until she’d rubbed me with shampoo and sprayed me off with the hose. Then she got out my Super Dog towel and dried me off. She put dry clothes on and put her muddy ones in the washer and destroyed all my muddy art work.

Bongo, that mud looks AMAZING. I’m so jealous. We might get rain today, and it will make my ducks very happy, but I don’t think they’d like taking long walks like you do.

FleaByte, I bet your ducks would have great fun in my puddle.

Kolytyi, I was planning on it, but my person said she didn’t want to take a bath in muddy water so she’d take care of it herself. Sometimes I don’t think she appreciates me.

That’s a very unimpressed look you’re giving in the ‘ready to go’ photo Bongo! My hair would HATE that weather so I’m not surprised you wanted to leave 😉

Bumpy Road, if there’d been enough water to swim in I would have been fine, but getting wet just because that stuff’s falling on my from the sky is no fun.

Remy, it would have been a great hike if I wasn’t getting so wet from all that rain. The mud was pretty cool though.

Angels Whisper, my person won’t let me get my paws on her camera. It really isn’t fair.
