Some of my friends in the eastern part of the States have had a visit by someone called Nemo. Nemo seems to like snow because he brought a lot of that with him. The people there are buried in snow, but some of my dog friends are having a great time playing in it.
I thought it would be fun to have some of that snow to play in, so I went out to see if Nemo had stopped by here.
I think maybe Nemo shook his head this direction because a lot of white flakes landed on top of me. They kind of look like dandruff. I think maybe Nemo needs to use a new shampoo.
Nemo, you might want to try some of mine. It works pretty good.
I figured Nemo was getting pretty close if he could shake his head and have stuff land here so I went looking, but I didn’t have much luck.
Nemo, are you hiding in this tree? I think you left something behind.
Wait a minute. I think I found something.
No this doesn’t look like it came from Nemo either. Maybe from one of his little brothers. A very tiny little brother.
This is no good. I’m very jealous of my doggie friends that have all that snow to play in while I’m having no luck.
What, person?
I’m lucky I can’t find Nemo? Why would you say that?
If anybody out there sees Nemo, could you tell him to stop by and see me, and bring some of his snow? And not just what he shakes out of his head either.
I mean it. I’m really serious about finding Nemo.

You just got a little Nemo sneeze over there, B. Some people got buried and they’re still struggling. We also are hoping they do OK. Mom and I say prayers for them every day. My house got Nemo’s best work – just enough snow to have fun.

Bongo you cannot believe what Diane just told me! I am sooo excited but I can’t understand why Diane’s being all grumbly…we’re getting a little baby Nemo this Wed/Thurs BUT we could get another Big Brother Nemo this weekend!!! How great is that buddy? I would so love to have you come up here & play with Nemo & me because you can make tunnels & roll in this & stick your head right inside Nemo. Diane says she’ll send you lots of Nemo & I’d be happy to share some with you but it’s more fun to play with a friend…Lola

Awww Bongo I’m sorry – not even any dandruff? You would have a ball racing around here with me AND I’ve got a whole bunch of great paths all over the place. Diane only lets me take out one of my stuffed buddies at a time now when it snows. Last year my big polar bear buddy kinda went through the snowblower & there’s was all kinds of commotion about that.

Poor polar bear buddy. My person never lets me take my stuffed buddies outside. She says my Frisbee is my outside toy, and sometimes I sneak a ball out.

Yeah polar bear buddy was a goner, even Diane couldn’t stitch him back together again. I can only take my pink buddies out in the snow but they love playing out there with me.

Well, you could do that but then you might have to keep doing it from every place he goes by… that’s why I thought that if you make him happier, then he’d stop scaring people!

OH MY BONGO! NO NEMO HERE ON MY PART OF THE E. COAST. AND ALL THE RAIN WE’VE HAD HAS TAKEN THE WHITE STUFF AWAY. ALTHOUGH SOME OF MY MASSACHUSETTS AND UP STATE N.Y. FRIENDS ARE STILL DIGGING. SOME TEENS FROM CHURCH ARE IN STATEN. ISLAND TO HELP REPAIR AND PAINT. IF WE GET SOME MORE I’LL LOOK FOR NEMO . THIS IS FROM MY FRIEND CHUBBERS

YES, we had TONS of snow here Bongo…30 inches. We will be sure to tell Nemo to bring you at least a truck load this year…:-)

Oh no! Nemo only dropped his dandruff on your head??? He should be coming to your way, Bongo! But he has to be much more friendly than when he’ve had been in the eastern part of the States!
