Scratchy on his cat cageScratchy had to go to the vet today. He wasn’t very happy about it.

But I’m pretty proud of myself. It’s my fault he had to go.

When I went to the vet the other day they found some nasty little bugs on me. I gave those bugs what for, but they thought I might have given Scratchy some.

I could have told them that Scratchy couldn’t possibly have gotten any bugs from me. Unless they ran up his nasty little claws. That’s the only part of Scratchy that ever touches me.

Oh wait, I did kiss Scratchy the other day. (Please don’t tell anybody.) But Scratchy was so rude he walked away right in the middle of my kiss.

So he deserves to have to go to the vet. Scratchy hates the vet.

Scratchy hates the vet so much that he has a black mark on his file there. It says “Attack Cat.”

Scratchy finally came home and I had him right where I wanted him. All caged up.

Bongo looking in the cat cage with its door open

Darn, that door came open. Come on out, Scratchy.

Scratchy inside his cat cage

Scratchy, what are you waiting for?

Bongo and Scratchy going at it while Scratchy is in the cage

Never mind. I think maybe you should stay inside that cage.

***

Scratchy finally snuck out of the cage when I wasn’t looking.

He jumped on top of the kitchen cabinets…

and decided to pose as “ornament cat.”

Bongo I don’t think any cat likes the vet, well except for the vet’s house cats who keep everyone in line. Moe hates the vet so much he gets sick all over Diane’s car…every single time. Maybe Scratchy’s the one who gave you the bugs though.

Diane and Lola, Scratchy must have given me those bugs because they didn’t find any on him. I bet they crawled off of him and got on me.

Scratchy – what a fitting name 🙂 He makes an awesome ornament, as long as his claws are out of reach!

Saved by Dogs, that name does describe Scratchy perfectly. Believe me, I know. I do feel safer when he’s being an ornament. Thanks for stopping by and commenting.

Once an ornament, always an ornament!
So, you gave Scratchy a kiss?!!!
You are sweet, Bongo – don’t worry, your secret’s safe with me!

Marina, I don’t know what got into me but I kissed Scratchy the other day. He still won’t play with me though.

Patrecia, Scratchy’s mean to me sometimes. Haven’t you seen him with his claws and fangs out?

Scratchy looks a lot like our cat Isaac – especially when his paw is raised to give a swat to a dog’s muzzle – that looks very familiar!

Oh no, you mean there’s two of them? Maybe I could send Scratchy over to your house to hang out with Isaac for awhile. Thanks for stopping by and commenting.

That’s one way to keep from getting any more sloppy kisses from you.

Sandra, I guess it’s hard to kiss Scratchy when he’s got his claws out and when he’s up really high. Maybe I can jump up and reach him.

Poor little Scratchy. Besides being an Attack Cat he’s also a Scardy Cat. It’s a good thing you’re so brave and strong, B. You are tough enough for both of you.

    Love and licks,

Cupcake, maybe that’s why Scratchy is such and attack cat. He’s trying to cover up his scardiness. Maybe I should give him some slack, but no, I’d miss all the fun.

Benny & Lily, I guess it’s okay that Scratchy is back home as long as he hangs out where he can’t get to me. I think he’s really happy that vet thing is all over with.

Good idea BZ. I’ll make sure to keep sending him back up to that ornament spot.

Oh poor Scratchy…is he ok now? Weren’t there any bugs on Scratchy? The name of “Attack Cat” on his file made me laugh Bongo….no wonder he hates the vet!
I think you are so sweet to welcom Scratchy at the cage when he came home Bongo! He must appreciate it! Hee hee… 🙂

Kevin, they didn’t find any bugs on Scratchy but my person had to give him medicine anyway. It just goes on his skin so he didn’t mind. I think that “Attack Cat” warning should be on our front door too, but for some reason he never attacks anybody but me.

That wasn’t nice of Scratchy to walk away from you when you kissed him. No wonder you gave him some of your buggies…

Donna, Scratchy never likes to play or get kisses. And he didn’t even have any of my buggies, but he had to get medicine anyway.

Wonderbutt’s person, that’s what I’m thinking too. I always get blamed for everything even when Scratchy’s up to no good.

Kolytyi, maybe that’s why they didn’t find any bugs on Scratchy. They all jumped off when he jumped up.

The collies are howling with laughter that scratchy had to go to the vet! Tigger ran off and hid at the news especially when Ginger told her she might have ticks too… hehehe… that was my idea!

Ginger, get out Tigger’s cat cage, or whatever he rides to the vet in. Then he’ll really get worried.

Don’t you feel just a wee bit sorry for Scratchy? :I have learned to duck and run when the claws come out at my place. We are glad all the bugs are gone. Hugs and nose kisses, Chancy and Mumsy

Chancy, Scratchy just needs to change his attitude. If he was nicer at the vet he’d probably get loves and treats and then he’d like going there.
