What a day! My person said it was going to rain today and I guess she was right. It’s been doing nothing but rain all day long. It’s not even a day I want to go out for a walk, and I usually take my person out in almost any kind of weather.
Well, except for that thunder kind of weather, that is.
We weren’t supposed to get any of that thunder stuff today. But I guess the clouds got tired of sending down rain because for awhile they sent hail…
.
and then it thundered.
But awhile later those clouds changed their mind again. It started to snow. Really hard.
That snow even stayed on the ground.
Okay, I checked it out. It’s really snow – even though we were only supposed to get rain today.
It’s cold, wet, and blowy out here. This is all the walk I need.
You mean I don’t have to drag you back home, person? You want to go home, too?
Move over, Scratchy. I’m taking over your warm spot.

Weather has gone completely crazy! [here too]
I’m sorry to hear about the thunder part…
However handsome you may look, walking in the snow, in your suit, Bongo, I bet it’s much much nicer being in, isn’t it?!

Marina, usually I’ll go out in almost any weather, but that snow was just too cold and wet.

sorry about the thunder..I know that you do not like it but you had your good warm safe coat on so that helped.
I thought that it was only a short while ago that you went out looking for snow…now you have it

Patrecia, I had fun playing in the snow in my yard the next day, but when it was coming down it was cold and wet.

Maybe, you will have enough material for a snow dog?

Kolytyi, I think it’s going to be one of those mud snow dogs again. Just enough snow to coat the outside.

That’s a lot of weather all in one day, B. Looks like you made the best of it!

Cupcake, it was more fun watching the snow from inside the house – but I did play in it the next day.

Is that snow on cactus? Glad you came in from the storm.

Dogdaz, that cactus was totally coated with snow.

Well, that is a little bit of every kind of precipitation. Good thing you have Scratchy at home to keep a spot warm for you.

Patricia, Scratchy’s always good for a warm spot. I’ve just got to kick him out of it.

Oh, Bongo, the weather is so mixed up, maybe you must make a choice 🙂

Angels Whisper, I choose a bunch of snow already on the ground and ready to play in.

Brrrr…..looks so cold there Bongo! And thunder in winter? Very weird….isn’t it?
It was very warm here today which was 20C….like Spring has already been here….
Please stay warm Bongo and keep your person warm, too! *whispers* Scratchy, too! 🙂

Kevin, I think it seemed colder because we were having warm spring weather. And we mostly get thunder in the summer, but sometimes a stray thunderstorm sneaks in during the winter.

Wow, exactly what we have here at the moment Bongo – and you live a looooong way away lol. Look after your person. I agree with the other comments above, you look even cuter in your suit.

Thanks Susan. I just wish we didn’t have the thunder so I didn’t have to wear my cute suit.

Ginger, I thought your dad would be disappointed to lose the snow because he doesn’t have an excuse to drive his tractor. Oh, and I tried to get Scratchy’s warm spot but he was on the couch and I got kicked off.

Bongo, you are so handsome! I enjoy reading your adventures. That picture of snow on cactus–wow–talk about opposites! I don’t think of snow in the desert!
Bongo, please forgive this personal question, but, how much do you weigh? I ask because I’m considering getting a dog your size to walk with me on my trails. If I go to a shelter, I’d like to give the people there an idea of the kind of dog I’m looking for. Thank you.

Thanks Literary Chicks. I just got weighed in at the vet and I’m about 62 pounds. It is pretty cool when it snows on the cactus. We’re in what’s considered high desert so only a few kinds of cactus grow here, and they don’t seem to mind snow.

Thanks for the info., Bongo. Yucca plants grow outside my house. I thought they were more of a desert plant, but they live through the cold winters here and thrive.

Lexie and Mica, the weather was totally confused. I wouldn’t have minded it so much if it hadn’t decided to thunder.

Yeah, you got some snow Bongo – but that hail stuff bonks you on the head & it can hurt. I’d even get back inside with that stuff…Lola

Lola, I stayed safe in the house while the hail was coming down. But at least it was little hail.

Whoa what a day. Maybe the thunder wanted to make sure people notice something cool was getting ready to happen. (Next time maybe a soft wind will just whisper “Bongo watch this”)
Does look chilly

Karen, I like that soft wind idea. Much better than thunder.
