Third Week of People Mischief

07 Oct

Bongo sitting in front of a futonThis is the third week in a row that my people have pulled mischief on me.

I am so miserable. It can be really awful having mischief making people.

They both left the house on foot – and they didn’t take me.

Do you believe it? On foot, and they didn’t take me.

My person said I’d been on two walks the day before, so it wouldn’t hurt me to miss my walk.

So now what I want to know is who told her? My walks with my neighbor dog Toby when she leaves me all day are supposed to be a secret.

I pointed out that it is National Walk Your Dog Week and my person said I could have walks the rest of the week.

She said they were going into coyote territory and they didn’t want me trying to give any of those coyotes what for.

Well, they didn’t see or hear a coyote, but they did get attacked.

By cactus pricklers ,thorny bushes, and loose rocks. My person came home full of scratches.

They should have taken me. I would have protected them.

But it’s all about that camera still. At least my person showed me where they went.

Coffee Pot Rock and an ocotillo

Mogollon Rim

Tree near a cave entrance

View of Sedona from Keyhole Cave entrance

Next week there’s going to be some new mischief.

That camera will be missing when I’m through.

But I won’t get into trouble for anything because Scratchy pulls all the mischief around here.

Now if I could only convince my people…

Bongo, I thought coyotes only attacked roadrunners …

FleaByte, I think since roadrunners always seem to get the best of coyotes, those coyotes have to take it out on someone else. Or maybe they ran out of roadrunners to attack. I haven’t seen one around here in a long time.

GAH! Those blasted coyotes again! And the pricklers. You’re better off at home, B. I know that sounds bad, but danger is…. Um… Dangerous. Hopefully, you got to raid the cat food, trash can, and litter box, so it wasn’t a totally wasted day.

Cupcake, I did do those things – and messed up my person’s bed too. Don’t tell anyone though. If I’m lucky they’ll believe me when I tell them Scratchy did it.

Kari, that’s why I keep wanting to give those coyotes what for – but my person won’t even let me do that.

Sounds like a real mischievous person, Bongo and maybe it’s time you put your paw down!
Well, lets not be too harsh on her, after all she did bring some beautiful shots back! And next time you go out, you make sure you give that cactus what for, for attacking your person. Just make sure you wear an armor! Hope she’s ok! 🙂

Marina, it was my younger person who got into most of the cactus. People just never learn sometimes. He was lucky though. The pricklers just went into his jeans and his boots kept them from going through into his leg. My person only got stuck by a prickler that snuck onto her boot and got her when she took her boots off.

The camera seems to ask for what for. Maybe I should hide mine before somebody gets it.

Stanze, if your camera gets precedence over your dogs, you’d better hide it.

Unsure after all I made photos of other peoples animals and didn’t take my dogs with me. I feel bad now. 😦 (No, not really, we humans are a mean lot.)

OMD! these pictures are amazing Bongo! Your person has learned a lot since she started taking her photo class! Or it’s because of her new camera? 🙂

Thanks Kevin. It’s partly what my person has learned, partly the camera and then tweaking the photos in Photoshop, and partly because my person is hiking to new heights to get those pictures.

Benny & Lily, my person says thanks about your picture comment – but I agree with you. No pictures should be posted unless I’m in them.

Oh Bongo…I was going to come down there to get away from all of the kitchen work noise but you know what? The worker guys are fun and they know just where I like my scratches. I think you could come up here and we could both help the workers…Lola

Hey Bongo – I’ve got 3 extra guys today & they all really like me but Diane’s making me stay on the back porch…something about me being in the way!!! Huh, don’t you think giving me scratches & lots of love is more important than plumbing & electricity?

Lola, that is so sad. Maybe if you make enough ruckus out on the porch Diane will let you back in. Scratches and loves are very important.
