The Slide

14 Oct

Bongo at the top of a natural slideMy trails have a well kept secret.

I’m really glad not too many people – or dogs – know about this, because my trails might get so crowded there wouldn’t be any room to move.

So here’s the secret. My trails are like a theme park – with rides and everything.

Well, at least one ride anyway.

You see, there’s a slide on my trails.

It slides right down into the wash.

When my younger person was a kind of little person he used to slide down this slide a lot with his friends. That was before I was around.

This is only the second time I’ve gotten to slide down it. The last time we were with my little friend who visits sometimes.

I don’t know why my person doesn’t take me down this slide every time. It’s right on the way home – if we go this way, that is.

So now that I’ve told you all about my slide, I guess I’d better go down it.

What a great slide and you do it so well, Bongo!! …but I think it’s recommended for 4P* drive only! 🙂

Marina, my younger person went down 2F, but when he was little he used to sit down and slide. My person went around the other way – the way everyone usually goes up if they want to slide down again. I think she cheated.

That looks like fun! It looks like the slide at the park. Except that one is neon blue. And smaller. And plastic. And has a ladder.

    Love and licks,

Cupcake, this slide’s more fun than the one at the park. How many slides can you go on and wind up totally dirty by the time you get to the bottom. It’s kind of like getting a slide and a dust bath at the same time.

We would love to go down your slide Bongo that looks like a lot of fun. Course we don’t walk on solid rock much so it might be tough at first!

Lexie and Mica, the slide is actually made of dirt so I think you would enjoy it. Come on over. We’ll have a great time together on the slide.

I think you should get the camera away from your person & take a picture of her coming down the slide. That is sooo cool!

Lola and Diane, I think I’d better do that next time. First I’ve got to get her to go down the slide. She cheated and went around.

Bassa, I guess that’s why my person cheated and went around instead of going down the slide.
