A Sad Story

09 Nov

Bongo sniffing something on the trailHmmm.

Something’s here that doesn’t belong on my trails.

At least not this time of year.

It smells funny too. Not your usual trail scent.

And it’s colorful.

.

.

.

.

.

What's hiding in Bongo's shadow?

There’s not usually much color on my trails this time of year except for the red rocks and the blue skies.

I wonder how this strange stuff got here.

Colors are usually cheery, but this stuff seems to have a sad story behind it.

Maybe a cute girl was sniffing the funny smell and the wind came up and blew these things out of her hands.

Or maybe a boy was bringing these to a cute girl, but she’d gone too far on my trails and he couldn’t find her.

Or maybe these were meant to remember someone.

Oh wait – this is Sedona after all. Someone was probably using these to put an enchantment on my trails.

It’s a good thing I found them then.

Discarded flowers on the ground

No enchantments for my trails.

Unless it’s to enchant all the cute girls to come and give me loves.

Rumpy, if I find a dead body I’ll let you know. I’ll probably need CSI and a lot more help too.

You need to put your own enchantment on your trails but maybe someone was doing the “she loves me, she loves me not” & maybe it turned out ok.

Maybe my girlfriend Julie was doing that and when I showed up to play with her she dropped the flowers. Woo woo!

Bassa, I wish I could gather those petals and present them to you – or maybe some fresher flowers. New moms always deserve special gifts.

I’m voting yes for the enchantment… The good kind. Can’t have too much enchantment in your life. That’s what I always say. Well… I don’t ALWAYS say it, but I’m planning to start….

Cupcake, I agree. We should always have the good kind of enchantment – where good things always happen.

Kevin, the really sad thing is we have to wait until spring now for more flowers to grow.

Whatever great thing was going to happen with those beautiful flowers, it must have gone wrong. They are all crushed on the ground with no one in sight. Sad Bongo:(

Lexie and Mica, maybe I could fluff those flowers up a bit. Or maybe eat them. I’ve never tried flowers before.
