My person has been full of mischief lately.
Every time she leaves the house she makes me go in dog jail.
Sometimes when she just leaves the room I have to go in dog jail.
Well, I’m catching on to her.
I’ve got her all figured out.
Whenever she lets me out and I didn’t ask to go out, and it’s not bedtime, it means dog jail is coming next.
.
So when she lets me out – I stay out.
There’s no dog jail in the yard.
And she won’t leave me alone in the yard because then I pull more mischief.
I jump the fence and visit the neighbors.
She used to lure me in with treats, but I know better now.
Nope. No dog jail for me.
Just try to catch me.
I let her get close, but then…
I squeeze past the yucca.
She won’t go this way. These yucca plants are pokey.
Hey person, I’ve got the Frisbee.
Come and get it!
Nope. No dog jail for me today.

Marina, it worked for a little while. Then my person tricked me. I heard the sound of a whole cup full of food falling into my dish. When I came in for it she grabbed my collar and shoved me in dog jail. I didn’t even get the food.

Cupcake, I used to play this game every time I escaped from my yard, but my person has learned my tricks and I haven’t been able to escape for a long time. Now I can only do it in the backyard. It still works pretty good though.

Bongo – you are the clever one! And you have those pokey plants. Molly had figured it out, too. She runs along the fence line behind all the thick bushes…which scares all the little birds trying to stay warm there. Dog jail is no fun…and especially since RC Cat never has to face lockup.

Karen, Molly and I must be in the same boat. Scratchy never gets locked up either. And you know what he does? He sits on a chair and taunts me while I’m in dog jail.

You show her she can’t trick you with treats! I play ‘chase’ with my Mum in the garden too, she tries to make me come in when I’m barking at the neighbors lawnmower, but I run away and I know the best routes way better than her! Tee Hee
