Today there wasn’t a single car parked by my trails.
This doesn’t happen very often.
I had to check under the rocks to make sure there were no cars hiding there.
But there weren’t.
And we didn’t see any people or dogs on my trails either.
I don’t know what happened to everybody.
But I think they were all erased.
Because I caught somebody in the act. Somebody trying to erase my rocks too, and they hadn’t finished yet.
I’d better be careful so nobody erases me.
Because my trails are extra fun today.
For some reason there are more puddles than usual.
I love splashing through all the puddles – and tasting them too.
And today I found something really unusual.
I hope they weren’t behind all that erasing, because I’ve never seen anything quite like them on my trails.
Maybe they’re here checking out what’s happening, and they’re here to help.
But what if they’re the cause of the erasures?
I think I’d better keep my distance.
Watch out everybody.
Stay away from those bubbles!

We are so glad you had a great walk. Bet those silly folks were shopping and just did not know what they were missing.

Coddle Creek, my person says she went shopping and there were hardly any people there either – but they were all on the road in their cars. I guess they just kept driving around so they wouldn’t have to get out of their cars in the rain.

Bubbles…. Hmmmm. Soap is a pretty good eraser. Are they soap bubbles?
Love and licks,

Cupcake, I’m not sure what kind of bubbles they are. I’ve seen suds on my trails when the water is running good – but this is the first time I’ve seen big bubbles like this. My trails are still empty and the bubbles are gone. I don’t know who erased who.

Do you think someone has been cleaning up everything? Doesn’t sound good. Maybe you better get out of there before ‘they’ decide to clean and erase you too!!! 🙂

Marina, that’s what I thought too. I walked really fast and headed back home.

Lily, the fog monster actually creeped into my yard for a little while – but I chased it away.

I’m glad you aren’t erased. So nice to have quiet trails, even with mystery bubbles. Have a wonderful Christmas!

Thanks Roberta. I like getting loves from people I meet on my trails, but quiet is nice too. Merry Christmas!

Bubbles bubbling up from the earth…could it be to do with those aliens that you have been seeing..maybe that’s why there were no people..they have all been gobbled up by bubbles…it has been a very bubbly day

Patrecia, I think I’d better stay away from those bubbles. I wouldn’t want them to gobble me up. They looked like they were full though, so maybe they’d had enough to eat.

Wow….mysterious bubbles….did the bubbles smelled lik soap? or no smells? Your trails look very slippery today Bongo….I’m worried if your person was all right to walk?

Kevin, those bubbles didn’t have much smell at all. And I watch out for my person so she doesn’t slip. Actually my trails are usually less slippery when they’re wet because the loose rocks don’t tend to slide out from under your feet as much. Some spots get really mushy though. It feels good to step in but my person doesn’t like it because her boots get all muddy.

Bubbles are never good because it usually means a bath!

Lola, I like baths. As long as water is involved it’s good.

I HATE baths! Just spent a day at the doggie spa & they pull on my hair. I think I came home about 10 lbs. lighter.
