Jail Bed

31 Dec

Bongo sleeping in his kennelHmmm. This new dog bed that showed up in my dog jail on Christmas is really comfy.

I hope my person doesn’t catch me sleeping on it.

She might think I like my dog jail.

I might get locked up in here even more than I do now.

Zzzzzzzzz. What a nice place for a nap.

.

.

***

What? What was that?

I think a light just flashed.

I hope it’s not lightning – because that means the next thing coming is thunderrrrrr!

Whew! It’s too quiet for thunder.

Maybe I’d better open an eye and see what it was.

Oh no! My person is there holding her camera.

If I turn my back to her maybe she won’t notice I’m sleeping in here.

Bongo turned away in the kennel

Person, you don’t see me in here.

I was not sleeping in here.

I just came in because – because –

Because one of my toys got in here somehow and I had to come in to get it.

Scratchy must have put it in here.

Really person, really.

Bongo caught lying in his kennel

You’ll never catch me sleeping in here with the door open.

Awwww, don’t feel guilty, my sweet Bongo. It does look so warm and comfy in there… But of course, that’s between you and me – I won’t tell!
You [and your persons] have a beautiful new year, my dear dear Bongo [with an abundance of fish!]
    🙂

Bongo, don’t worry about spending some of your free time in your jail. Wall-E spends some free time in his jail too. I leave the door open all the time except for when he is bad. Though that is when he comes to work with me.

Kimberly, I guess I’ve just got to get used to this jail thing. I get locked in it every time my person leaves the house. I don’t even get a chance to pull mischief any more. Happy New Year to you and Wall-E.

What a splendid bed….no wonder you want to sleep and relax in it… I have been told that dog cages give a dog security, so that when it thunders the ghunder can, t get you cos you are safely in your cage or jail……my puppies love their cage

Patrecia, my dog jail still doesn’t keep the thunder out. The last time it thundered and my person wasn’t here I bent the metal part of the cage that holds the sign, but I still couldn’t get out. It was a really nasty thunderstorm though.

maybe you should sleep under person’s bed. My Charlie does that as he does not like any bangs in the night so he comes and sleeps on the bed then he feels safe

Patrecia, at night I sleep next to my person’s bed but for some reason she won’t let me on it. I think I’ll drag my new bed over next to her bed.

That is a brilliant idea, does,nt it make you feel cosy , safe, and protected from the thunder…maybe ear muffs would work

That first pic is solely Photoshop! Your person merged a pic about an empty dog jail with a photo with you sleeping on the couch!

Kolytyi, that explains it! My person has been on Photoshop all week – and she was trying to tell me she was doing something for church. Now I know the truth. I wasn’t sleeping in that dog jail at all. Oops! I’m not supposed to sleep on the couch.

Such a lovely calm retreat. Luxury for sure.
The German could use one of those right now…exhaustion..playing hide and seek at full run in the chilly air is great, bit a gal gets tired…she’d probably even close the door herself.
Molly has eaten three jail beds to make a point, but seeing you and yours – she is reconsidering…that “cozy” looks better than “chewy” now
Rest up for the new year, Bongo. Hope your new year is filled with wonder and joy

Karen, it really is a comfy bed. I just wish it was somewhere besides in my dog jail. Happy New Year to you, Molly, and the German.

aaww – what a nice bed you got Bongo! I love it. At least if you have to serve time in jail, the humans have made it comfy for you 🙂 Happy New Year my friend. XOXO – Bacon

It’s not such a bad place when the door is open. I wish I could come in and hang with you. That bed looks comfy….

Cupcake, I wouldn’t mind my dog jail at all if you were hanging with me. Happy New Year!

That does look like a pretty comfy bed. I had one Bongo, but I don’t get to use it very much because there’s a certain cat who keeps claiming it! You have to be careful of flashing light because it could be thunder. I freaked out one night because Diane didn’t answer a message on that silly phone machine & it was blinking all night – sure looked like lightening to me!

Lola, my person put my old bed on top of her sewing machine so she can fix a hole in it. Now Scratchy is sleeping on it. I sure hope my person moves Scratchy and fixes that hole soon.

All these pictures of you make me smile. You look so comfy in your little jail. I feel the same way in my little room. So comfy and all my toys are there. Happy New Years to you and your person 🙂

Wow! That new bed looks so comfy, Bongo! Please be careful that Scratchy might sneak in it because it looks like cat loves, too! 🙂

Kevin, so far Scratchy’s just tried to steal my old bed, but I’m going to take it back from him. He gets to sleep on the couches and I don’t so he doesn’t need a bed.
