Those cats are still hanging out at my house having a cat party.
This must be the longest cat party ever.
But I guess they wore themselves out and decided to take naps.
The only problem is that Gizmo took his nap in my dog jail kennel.
What’s a cat doing in a dog’s kennel? My kennel at that!
Well, I’d had enough of all the mischief going on around here so I told Gizmo he’d better get out of my kennel.
.
And you know what he did?
He made sure there was no room left for me.
Cats!
What do you do with them?
You can’t beat them and you can’t join them.
So I did the next best thing.
I kissed him.

Oh when kitkat decides she is taking the first place next to the wood stove I know momwithoutpaws will say no if I chase her so I sniff her so much she leaves annoyed .. I win..

Fredrieka, sometimes I nail Scratchy to the floor with my paw. Then he gets mad and runs off. I haven’t tried that with the two visitor cats – yet.

Dog kisses! You’ll show that cat. Best revenge ever…oh, well there’s tail sniffs…Molly is sneaking a few of those from RC Cat.

Karen, I’m afraid I might run out of slobber with three cats to kiss. I’m saving all my kisses for special moments.

that is exactly what I was going to suggest..give them loves. Cats love nothing better than being fussed over with licks and purrs..not that you can purr cos you are a dog but I am sure that those cats were very happy with your licks.( just mind that they do not scratch your nose…that really hurts)
Bongo
March 24, 2014 at 2:09 pm
Patrecia, I know about those hurting scratches on the nose. Scratchy wasn’t named Scratchy for nothing. So far the visitor cats haven’t let out their claws. Two points for me, I guess.

You really could have joined the cat, Bongo. In your jail. It might not have been pretty …

FleaByte, I was a little concerned about trying to join Gizmo in there. I hear he sometimes swipes at the dog he normally lives with.

Ahhh what a sweet Bongo.
Are they going to be part of your pack Bongo? Do they get to stay at your house? An eternal cat party?
Bongo
March 24, 2014 at 2:11 pm
FleaByte, fortunately the two visitor cats are only here for a couple more weeks. Then I’ll just have Scratchy left to put up with.

Smart move. I have found kissing to be the best answer to any question and the best solution to any problem!

Cupcake, if nothing else I’m sure kissing those cats will put them in their place. I even kissed Scratchy since they’ve been here. I don’t usually do that.

Try not to swallow too many cat hairs though, you wouldn’t want a cat-hair-ball!

Aw, Gizmo sure looks comfortable in your dog jail! Maybe it isn’t so bad?

Jen, I think Gizmo was too comfortable. After all, that’s my dog bed in there.

That’s what I figured M.K. Those cats act like they’re okay with it, but deep down inside I know they’re going “Yuck!!!”

Bongo are you sure they didn’t all love it there and just moved in permanently? I mean you have a pretty sweet pad and you are pretty cool…….just saying…..

March 24, 2014 at 6:34 pm
Marty, don’t scare me like that. They do seem to be making themselves at home here, but my person insists that they won’t be here forever.

Hey Bongo
Are you turning into a big old softie? But if the cats in your jail, doesn’t that mean you can’t get locked in there buddy? 🙂
I hope you’re having a fun day,
Your pal Snoopy 🙂

Kevin, Gizmo has made himself quite at home here. And Tiberius is starting to do the same too. He even took over my person’s lap for awhile. No fair! I never get to sit in her lap.

Awwww, Bongo that was just sweet. Patches gets in Chancy’s Kennel and sleeps and he pulls on my arm until I get her out. He never kisses her, he should take some “being sweet and sharing” lessons from you. Hugs and nose kisses

Chancy and Mumsy, I can handle a little more from Gizmo because I know he’s not staying here forever. You’ve got to be kind to the guests, you know.

I’ve been doing the same thing lately Bongo… I can’t believe it but I’ve been kissing Jack cat when he annoys me. I haven’t figured out if it’s working or not. But the look on his face is pretty priceless. Cooper the Cattledog.

Cooper, I’m learning that kissing cats is kind of fun. Especially when they don’t like it. I even kissed Scratchy – that cat that always lives here.
