Most of my adventures happen in a day, or a walk, or maybe even in a minute.
But this adventure took a long time to unfold.
Almost a month.
Because every time I walked by this place something had changed.
For some reason people like to stack rocks on my trails.
Sometimes when I go for a walk I’ll find that a new stack has appeared.
And sometimes it’s gone again the next day.
But one particular stack started out small.
And then it grew.
And a few days later…
It grew again.
So I started getting excited to see what would happen each time I walked by.
How big would this stack get?
So the next time I walked by that way…
Wait a minute.
There’s something wrong with this picture.
I’m not very good at counting, but aren’t there supposed to be more rocks on this stack, not less?

Patrecia, I really have to watch out for those aliens on my trails. You never know what they’ll be up to next.

Hmmm something is definitely fishy Bongo. Glad you are back on your walks though!
August 2, 2014 at 3:04 pm
Thanks Marty. I’ve had to miss a few walks because the thunder’s been hanging out on my trails lately. Nasty, nasty thunder. I don’t like it at all.

I know poor Bongo. Send that weather our way! We are dry, dry, dry!
August 3, 2014 at 5:12 pm
Marty, you can have all my thunder but I think I’ll get in trouble if I send the rain. We are finally getting some after being very dry for months.

The piles will come and the piles will go. It’s such a mystery….
Love and licks,

Cupcake, I might have to have you come help me solve this mystery. It’s too much for me.

probably humans come out and play games so there are rocks on your trail. If there on your trail everyday then there are probably a group of humans out and they do games.
August 3, 2014 at 5:13 pm
Tula, I think the people around here play really strange games with those rocks.

Maybe Humans are playing some pretty weird tricks on you these days. Put on your thinking cap and get some really great ideas to trick those Humans back.
August 3, 2014 at 5:14 pm
Tyla, I might have to put on my Detective Dog hat.
August 3, 2014 at 8:46 am
Well you don’t have to know your numbers to know when the stack got smaller Bongo … An astute observation of course my friend. We drive by a house on a corner and someone keeps making creative rock stacks so maybe our rock stacker and your rock stacker are in communication somehow. Hey, many there are colonies of rock stackers all over!
August 3, 2014 at 5:20 pm
Diane and Lola, I think there might be a rock stacker conspiracy.
August 4, 2014 at 2:42 am
Hehe, purhaps whee stole the littlest stones because whee can pick them up and made our very own secret stack, haha! You’ll never know!

Pigs, I’ll be looking for a tiny stone stack. If I find it I’ll look to see where you are hiding.
August 4, 2014 at 3:39 am
You trails are getting weird!!
August 4, 2014 at 11:49 am
Dalton, the strangest things happen on my trails sometimes.
August 4, 2014 at 8:49 am
Oh Bongo…please keep away from those rocks…they might fall down…and hit you….
August 4, 2014 at 11:52 am
Kevin, I’m more concerned that whoever took those rocks away might try to take me away too. I mean, maybe it’s an alien spaceship with a tractor beam.
August 5, 2014 at 3:56 pm
Too cool! We thought that Trevor would’ve watered them… pit stops he would’ve called them.. heheheh
August 5, 2014 at 4:10 pm
Collies, sometimes I do that for Trevor. Water them, that is.
August 8, 2014 at 4:50 am
Puzzling, isn’t it? Have you considered watering them to see whether the …entities will be discouraged from playing with those rocks?! 🙂
August 8, 2014 at 2:34 pm
Marina, I watered them once. I might have to keep doing it.
