Safe Walk?

15 Aug

Bongo looking at the trailI decided to take my person for a walk a little earlier than usual today.

We had the trails to ourselves – except for the lizards and birds, that is – because nobody uses my trails in the middle of the day in the summer.

The clouds were covering the sun and it was not quite as hot as usual.

But that’s what I was watching.

.

.

.

.

The clouds.

Clouds

Pretty harmless so far.

I think we can keep going.

Cloud buildups with the sun on top

The sun’s still around.

Let’s walk further.

Cloud buildups behind Thunder Mountain

We’d better hurry.

That cloud’s beginning to look like something.

I’m not sure what, but it’s something.

Dark cloud buildups

Ummmmm…

Dark cloud buildups

Alright, I’m outta’ here.

That’s enough walking for today.

Kimberly, thanks for the treat toss. Now I’ve just got to get those clouds under control. They’re still at it.

Little Binky, I made it back in the house on time – but sometimes that thunder actually comes into the house. It’s bad – really bad.

We had some rain today, not a lot, but I was pleased to see the clouds. I stayed outside whilst the rain fell upon me and it felt so good. It is still very hot… please can we have the rainclouds that you do not want…xxxRB820378915CNRB820378915CN

Patrecia, we want the rain clouds here – just not those thunder clouds. I’ll send all the thunder clouds your way.

Marty, walks have been a challenge here lately. Between my person not feeling good or being busy and the thunder I’m going to get out of shape.

Sounds like you timed it just right, B. No sense taking needless chances. Those clouds told a scary story!

Cupcake, I stay far away from those clouds. Sometimes I even try to take longer walks because the thunder rumbles are back the way my house is.

Fredrieka, sometimes I take my person out for walks anyway when it rains – but not when there’s thunder involved.

Kevin, this time of year is the worst here. You never know when a thunderstorm might come rumbling in. One showed up right over our house in the middle of the night last night. It was loud!
