The Best Way to End the Year

31 Dec

Bongo playing in the snow

Finally, my person is letting me post again.

I posed for so many pictures today that she didn’t know what else to do.

Anyway, this was the best way to end the year – and the only time all year I had snow to play in.

Bongo dragging a frisbee in the snow

One of my favorite things to do is drag a Frisbee through the snow.

Bongo looking for his frisbee in the snow

Now where did that Frisbee go?

Bongo in the snow with a frisbee in his mouth

Here it is!

I found it.

Gizmo peeking out the door

Hey Gizmo, come out here!

This is so much fun!

Bongo standing in the snow with a defiant look

Are you serious, Gizmo?

There is no way I’m coming back in the house.

Well, maybe – if I can go out the other door and head to my trails.

Bongo sniffing a snowman

Hey, who is this invading my front yard?

Looks like some kind of alien or something.

All I can say is, you’d better not be here when I get back –

 -or I’m turning you yellow.

Bongo sniffing a bush in the snow

Speaking of yellow, there’s got to be some yellow snow around here.

They tell me it carries the best messages.

Bongo sniffing another bush in the snow

Nope.

There’s no yellow snow here either.

Agave plants covered in snow

These snow creatures must have eaten it all.

Bongo in his puddle that is almost covered in snow

Hey, what happened to my puddle?

It’s changed.

I guess not everybody likes snow the way I do.

I hope you pop out of it soon, puddle.

Bongo standing in the snow

Are you coming people?

Bongo on a snowy trail looking back

Come on!

Don’t worry about that puddle.

It’ll get over it.

Bongo waiting for his younger person to throw a snowball

Finally!

Okay, throw the ball.

I’m ready.

Bongo watching his younger person with a snowball

I see that ball.

C’mon, throw it!

Bongo in the snow with a sad look

What do you mean, our walk is over?

Happy New Year everybody!

Wow, you have lots of snow sweet Bongo and it sure looks like you were having an amazing time playing it it. Sweet Gizmo seemed to be enjoying it from the inside looking out, I would have to join him, too cold for this old granny to play in the snow. lol

We wish you all Very Happy New Year and we hope that 2015 will be filled with love, happiness, good health, all you need to live comfortably and lots of hugs and nose kisses! Hugs and blessings! Maggie, Gene, Chancy, Pooh and Baby Boy

Wow you have snow Bongo…that must be so much fun…for you. Not for us cats. We had one day snow and when I came back from the..well, you know 😉 …my paws were kitty-red for a long time. I tried to shake the snow off for quite some time…at least I gave Granny a good laugh 😀 Pawkisses for a Happy New Year 🙂 ❤

Thanks Little Binky. Happy New Year to you too. My person says she actually had a couple kittens once that had fun playing in the snow. The cats here never go outside – especially when there’s snow on the ground.

Snow if lovely Bongo, it was great seeing you enjoying it. I cannot wait for some here. It can melt fast, cos I hate the ice and slush that follow lol. Happy New Year from a cold and windy England.

Oh such fun in the snow! I love the snow creature…Happy New Year Bongo to you and Gizmo and your humans. My baby girl is small and white and gets totally lost in snow, luckily we have not had any this year 🙂

    • Bongo

      January 2, 2015 at 8:58 pm

Eily, I guess small and white would get lost in the snow. Maybe that’s why Gizmo won’t go outside and play in it – even though he’s not all white. Happy New Year to you too.

Happy New Year Bongo!! I missed your post, so I’m so happy to read it again! Wow…..all pictures don’t look that they were taken in Arizona…..How long had it snowed? for a few days? I like the spiky snow creature because he/she looks funny!!!

      January 3, 2015 at 5:09 pm

Thanks Kevin. Happy New Year to you and all your family too. That snow actually came down all in one day. We don’t get that much snow here very often so it’s extra fun when we do. We’re up kind of high so we do get some snow but this storm even brought a little snow to Tucson, which is in the desert and hardly ever gets any. That spiky snow creature is an agave, and it’s what the century plants grow out of.

Looks like your new year was wonderful! Look at all that snow!!! Looks like where we live! You should throw Gizmo out into the snow…..muwahahahaha

      January 13, 2015 at 1:56 pm

Collies, I was really tempted to throw Gizmo out in the snow but my person kept shutting the door on him. My snow is all gone now and we’re just getting rain. But maybe sun again tomorrow.
