Praying for Ghost Dog

30 Jan

Ghost DogThere’s no way! I don’t believe it. You really saw him that far away? You mean Ghost Dog not only disappears, but he can reappear in faraway places? Come on person, you’re telling me stories. Aren’t you?

I guess I’d better tell you a secret about my person. Sometimes she goes out with friends from her church to meet people and pray with them. I’m really not very happy about it because when she does that she leaves me home alone – well, Scratchy’s here but he doesn’t count. My person could stay home and hang out with me instead. If she really wants to pray for someone I’ll let her pray for me.

Anyway, my person went to a place a few miles from our house. She and her friends were walking around talking to people when she saw him. She saw Ghost Dog. At least she says she saw him – I’m still not sure if I believe her. There’s no way he could reappear that far away from here. I just sniffed noses with him at my trailhead a few days ago. Right before he disappeared the last time. But he always reappears somewhere around here.

You’re not going to believe what my person did next. I’m still not sure I can forgive her. She says that since she had gone out to pray, she prayed with all of Ghost Dog’s people friends. Do you believe it? She left me home alone and prayed for Ghost Dog.

I think my person should pray that Ghost Dog reappears near here. Then she won’t have to leave me home alone. She can pray for both of us at the same time.

Awe, I hope Ghost Dog makes it back home safe.. Bongo, you should pray too, that way the sooner Ghost Dog gets home, the less time your person will be out praying for other dogs 😉

Jaxart4animals, my person thinks Ghost Dog is moving to the new place where she saw him. She better not go back there to pray for him without taking me.

Mom and I say prayers together at home every day. I would be sad if she went and prayed with another dog, but our People have got to do what they’ve got to do. Your Person is doing a good thing. Meanwhile, that Ghost Dog is mysterious, ethereal, devious, and enigmatic. Plus, I’m not sure I believe in ghosts.

Cupcake, I don’t know what to think of that Ghost Dog – except he smells like a real dog. All I can say is my person better take me along if she prays for him again. Then Ghost Dog and I can pray for each other.

    Hey Bongo,

If Ghost Dog gets to go with your Mum I think you should be allowed too!! Tee Hee

    Have a fun day,

    Your pal Snoopy 🙂

Snoopy, I agree. My person is using the excuse that she had no idea she was going to see Ghost Dog. She’d better take me next time though.

Maybe he found a time warp “worm hole” on the trail that zaps him from place to place…no, wait, a a worm hole would obviously be too small? It is a puzzlement.

Karen, in Sedona where we live we have these energy vortexes and at least one of them is supposed to be a time warp one. Maybe Ghost Dog found one on our trails that we didn’t know about. Oh no – I’d better be careful so I don’t get stuck in it.

I think you could all pray that Ghost Dog’s people would be more responsible.

Rumpy, my person and I agree. As a matter of fact my person was just talking about him with my new friend Bentley’s person today. Bentley’s person didn’t know where he lived and was concerned whether he even had an owner.

I do hope your person’s prayers for Ghost Dog will work! He looks like a sweet boy despite your frustrations with him 😉

It’s too bad his people are not as good of parents as your person is!!

Deanna, my person says at least Ghost Dog was on a leash when she found him in that faraway place. I think I’ll miss him if he doesn’t come back.

    OH, poor Bongo. 😦
Hey, maybe, just maybe, if you be nice (extra nice) to your persons and talk some sweet talk about Ghost dog, just maybe she will let you go with her 🙂 Remember…be sweet, like honey!

Kevin, I hope my person lets me. Otherwise I think I’ll kind of miss Ghost Dog – although I’ve been seeing a lot of my new friend Bentley – the other white dog.

Dianda, here’s my person’s excuse – she says she was going to meet people and some people might be afraid of me. Go figure. She says she didn’t know she would find Ghost Dog.

Here in BG dogs walk for miles and miles looking for food, shelter and someone to love them, so it may be the case with your Ghost Dog, although from the picture he does seem to have a very nice person to love him…..but it maybe that he likes to wander..

Anyway I am going to pray for you Bongo cos you are one helluva dog and I shall pray for Ghost Dog and all those dogs who need a loving home

love and licks.xxx and a sniff

Patreciau, thanks for your prayers. They are always good. My person says Ghost Dog does have a person to love him – his person just lets him wander around our neighborhood instead of making him stay at home. His person was with him the day my person found him far away.

Bongo, I think she does and something tells me you’ll be seeing Ghost Dog soon. I’m surprised though you couldn’t believe her… couldn’t you smell him on her? I’m sure Ghost Dog sent you a secret message! Try smelling your person to find what it is!

Marina, you’re right – I did smell Ghost Dog on my person. It just seemed so strange because I also smelled one of my other friends on her that I’ve never met nose to nose because he doesn’t live near me.

I am convinced Ghost Dog is the personification of Perro Blanco at the finca opposite me. That will be why he is a Ghost Dog. He can just – travel.

    Hi Bongo!
Ghost Dog sure does make it all over the countryside….amazing isnt it? Hopefully he will not get hurt in his travels. We wonder if Ghost dog wants to be your friend…. 🙂 After all, make friends with the human is a way for Ghost dog to get to meet you more…

    Your friends!

    The Collies 🙂

Collies and Chuck, Ghost Dog is so funny. He starts to be friendly and then he disappears. My person says she thinks he is moving to the place where she saw him. I might have to get my person to take me there if she goes again.

eof737, I was kind of hoping to make friends with Ghost Dog but it’s kind of hard to do when he keeps disappearing and reappearing in strange places.
