Bongo Ties for Christmas

26 Dec

Bongo with a package of Bongo TiesBoy did I have a good Christmas this year. Look at this! I even got Bongo Ties. Who would have thought someone would make something special just for me. I’m not sure what I’m supposed to do with these Bongo ties – I think it might have something to do with tying up Scratchy – but that’s a whole other story.

But while I was still pondering (I was what?) what to do with those Bongo ties my person opened another present for me. She says she used to have a dog that opened his own presents, but I figure I’m paying her all those big bucks to be my secretary so she can open my presents too.

And speaking of big bucks…

.

.

Bongo chewing an antler

I got an antler! I really needed this because I finished off my last antler awhile back.

I got some other toys too – including a squeaky squirrel.

Bongo with his squirrel and other Christmas toys

Take that, you pesky squeaky squirrel!

Bongo chewing his antler with his leg holding down the squirrel

I really like my antler.

***

Scratchy must have thought that he didn’t get enough presents…

Scratchy on a pile of used wrapping paper

because I caught him searching through the torn paper for more. (I did get more presents than Scratchy, but don’t tell him.)

And just when I thought all the presents were opened and Christmas was over…

Bongo looking at a tennis ball

a ball showed up. Woo woo!

I hope all of you had a great Christmas too.

Those are some very nice presents! I’m glad you were finally able to open them all!

We love the snow on your page! How did you add it?

Kat N Collies, it was really great finally getting my presents. As for the snow, WordPress has a feature that allows you to add it for the Christmas season. I don’t know if you can do it on Blogspot.

Benny & Lily, I learned from my buddy Snoopy that mischief doesn’t count when it comes to Santa bringing presents. So when you take all the mischief out of the equation I was very good.

Great loot, B. You killed! You should try opening the gifts yourself. It’s pretty easy, and when nobody is looking you can eat some of the paper. It’s delicious!

    Love and licks,

Cupcake, I’ve never tried eating paper before. Just little McDonald’s ketchup things and stuff like that. I’ll have to remember to try the paper next year.

Echo & Link, I just love playing with balls – especially the real tennis balls. They feel so good to squish down on, and once I’ve gotten them all slobbery I give them back to my people so they can toss them for me.

Lola, sometimes the wrapping paper is the best present. Boxes can be good too.

Lexie and Mica, glad you two had a good Christmas. I’m having a great time with my toys and treats. But Lexie, let Mica have her penguin. I’m sure you got some great toys of your own.

Well Bongo, you made out all right! Much more and your person will have add a room on the house just for you and your stuff.

Patricia, I had to replace all the toys I wore out during the year. It seems like I just break even by the end of the year.

Looks like a whole bunch of great things! I’ve thought about getting an antler for Elka, but she never really seems to like hard things.

Antlers are my very favorite, but I guess different dogs like different things.

Glad you enjoyed your Christmas, Bongo, and so much nice presents. I think Scratchy is satisfied with the paper, maybe even more then with some presents 😀

Angels Whisper, Scratchy is happy as long as he has a cozy place to sleep. I hope you had a good Christmas too.

Dalton, it was the best kind of ball too – good for catching and squishing.

Thanks Kevin. I’ll tell Scratchy you like his picture. He’ll probably pose for more. My person got me a good frisbee for the back yard because mine are all worn out, and she says the other two are for the dog park. Yipee! That means I get to go to the dog park soon.

Wow Bongo, you got some really great stuff! I got the bone from our rib roast because I was really good about not grabbing the rib roast off the counter. I got a Mr. Bill talking guy but all he did was yell “Mr. Billllll” and “Oh NO”… so I pulled his brains out & he doesn’t work any more. Merry Christmas Bongo, your pal Lola.

Lola, that rib roast bone sounds like a great present. But Mr. Bill deserved to have his brains pulled out. It sounds like he was expecting it.

Merry Christmas Bongo!!! Wow, you had a lot of presents!!!!! Ginger wants some of those Bongo ties and says she will fly over to help you tie up scratchy. She says she wants to put a leaky water bottle above him and let it slowly drip on him…… (she is practicing her evil genius side again!) sigh…..

Ginger, I’ll save the Bongo Ties until you get here and we can tie up Scratchy together.
