We have two main wildflower seasons here. In late spring and early summer the cactus bloom, and then in late summer and early fall other things bloom. So right now I have to drag my person along when she tries to stop and take pictures of all those flowers.
I got lucky with this morning glory plant. It’s called morning glory for a reason. Morning is when the flowers are open, and then they close up for the day. So whenever we walked by the plant the flowers were closed up and my person had nothing to take pictures of.
But something strange happened. We walked by and there was a flower in full bloom. I think somebody needs to straighten this plant out. Its name is not evening glory. Come on flower – close up quick. You’re not playing by the rules.
That flower didn’t listen any better than my person does sometimes. It stayed open showing of its full glory – its full evening glory.
What else can I do? Guess I’ll chew on a few weeds until my person puts her camera away. How’s that for glory?
